LEGOGhostbusters Ecto-1 & 2 75828 Building Kit (556 Piece)

Great set with six great, highly detailed minifigs (including printing on arms and legs for the four Ghostbusters) that have top notch hair pieces and very well done expressive faces. Some nice touches not present on the previous Ecto 1 include opening side doors and rear door, and 2-1 offset bricks so you can seat the minifigures in the car. The car is the same overall size as the previous incarnation of Ecto 1--which means that if you've invested in the Ghostbusters HQ set, it will still fit through the door (but won't fit entirely inside the garage unless you move or remove the desk). The Ecto 2 and ghost minifig are nice bonuses.There's a pretty significant number of decals for a smallish set, but the car's side pieces with Ghostbuster logo and the ECTO 1 license plates remain printed pieces, and the new "racing-stripe" car side pieces are also printed.I like the design of the original Lego Ecto 1 a little better--it looks more classic-hearse-like, so this really is a 4.5 star review, but I'll round up.

My 7 year old Grandson was thrilled.It took a few hours and it was all built.

What is there to not like about this set! The movie nostalgia along with enjoyable lego build provides adults and kids with a great opportunity to revisit one of the most iconic ghostly films for people of all ages. Definite play-ability after the build is complete, tracking down other ghostly lego characters! The Ecto will always remain an iconic Hollywood prop that holds magical movie moments for fans and public alike... taking it to the next level with Legos!

Feels like a great value compared to the original Exto 1 set. 2 additional minifigs plus motorcycle plus much bigger main vehicle than original set. Liked all the minifigures prints (heads and hair very useful for custom figures). Build was detailed and fun. Seats all 4 figures, but the trunk does not hold all 4 proton packs (holding 1 was a stretch, really). Bought a 2nd of each ecto set to make a custom original ecto 1 that seats all 4 guys ( haven't built it yet). Give the set an honest chance. Main disappointment was that the Ecto 2 bike used a sticker instead of printed logo, but plus side is you can use that logo sticker on other creations. Ghost was kinda lame and I think it should have been green, based on the pic in the instruction book.

14 year old son is a aiming at being a master-builder, loves the difficult stuf and the Ghostbuster firehouse was magnificent. So, had to get the car to go with it, and the women Ghostbusters too. The car does not fit into the Firehouse like the older version. however, this one was worth purchase. It has more... just more. Any Lego fan knows each brick counts; the fact that it doesnt fit is no matter.It is a great build and item!

I love this! I am 23 years old and I have no shame in saying that I ordered this for myself. I love the new movie and have always been a big fan of LEGO's, so when I saw they made the 2016 movie adaptation of the Ecto-1 and all of the new characters, I had to have it. It took about 3 hours for me to put it together but it was well worth it. It is very detailed and even comes with the Ecto-2 (motorcycle). It looks amazing and will now go on display with my other Ghostbusters items.

This was and easy set to build. My son did it in less than an hour. The reason I got it for him is he has remolded the Firehouse set for the Ghostbusters to fit the Ecto 1 in the building without moving any of the items already in the firehouse. Now he is starting to remodel the Firehouse again to attach a garage on the side of the building to accommodate the new set The Ecto 1&2. It should look pretty good when it is done.

Really nice set and at a good price. My daughters liked putting it together. This along with the original Lego Ecto-1 are now part of our Halloween display. I posted a good picture of the sticker sheet used.
