I was a tad bit sceptical after reading the reviews, but what the heck? I loved it :)

This book started of with a purpose with interesting details of the arrival of paper making, but halfway through became a history of printing and the development of the publishing industry. An interesting read not exactly "what it said on the tin"!!

Very interesting and informative book. The first half was packed with fascinating information tracing the history and development of paper technology. The second half was a bit of a bore but still very informative.I have been looking for a book like this for a long time and I would certainly recommend other give it a go.

Still reading at the moment but, like his other books, very interesting and informative.
