I have about 500+ CDs that I want to convert to iTunes or iMusic or AppleMusic (or whatever the hell it's called these days). It's a daunting task but this handy little device makes it SUPER simple. It plugs directly into the USB-C slot on my iMac, pop in the CD and viola! It opens iTunes and transfers everything WITH THE DATA right into the system without my having to do anything extra. And it's FAST. I haven't done a lot of the CDs yet (I just got this) but I was very impressed with how easy it is to do it. And you can't beat the price. I love technology that WORKS.

When the CD/DVD drive in my laptop died, a techie friend suggested I get this as a peripheral instead of buying a whole new laptop. Glad he did as he not only saved me $$$, it works infinitely better than my original CD drive ever did.

Bought this in October 2021 - worked "okay" for 2.5 years but was fussy accepting and ejecting disks. In fact, when ejecting, it would launch the disks out instead of only partially ejecting them. Always had to be ready to "catch" them.As of July 2024 it is no longer accepting disks at all and does not show up as a connected device in System Info on any computer I plug it into.

It has been used for a long time and everything is very good.I used to use it to play movies, very fast.I recommend using potplayer to play movies. It's easy to use and compatible.During this period, I recorded several music CDs and put them on my car. Several family dinner videos were also recorded. Because I'm a novice, I didn't know that video recording needs professional software at the beginning, which took a long time. I recommend Nero, which is a professional recording software.I hope my feedback can provide you with correct reference.

I ordered this and didn't use it for months (So now its outside the return window). Finally picked up some Pimsleur language cds from the library to use it with. It burned ONE, I repeat ONE CD, before completely malfunctioning and breaking. I am so pissed off I want everyone to know DO NOT buy this junk.

Works most of the time. May be the software I’m using as it was a free download.

The software would not load even though it claims it works with my system and the cd drive turned on once and then refused to work again.

If you are looking for a low price DVD Burner, that doesn't work, this is the one for you.
