No, these could hold around 50 standard wooden pencils. I currently have one filled with colored pencils and it holds about 2 packets of 24.

It appears that NO these boxes do not SNAP or LATCH together. I understood your question perfectly. If these boxes did snap together so as to be able to carry them all at once as one single box with 1 handle on the top - that would make them a lot cooler.

They would need to be small dividers. I put markers and crayons in for classroom use. They work great.
