The reviews all mention playing with kids. My gaming group is in its 40s but likes lighter fare. Would we enjoy this or is it too light?

If you’ve ever played Mice and Mystics you’d like this game. I’m almost 40 and think it’s fantastic. You play on the storybook and its very story driven. Check out the “Watch It Played” video on YouTube for some gameplay.

Is this really just a kids game?

Tom Vasel reviewed this and said he wouldn't WANT to play it without his kids because it's the best way to play, and I think that's the best way to put it. It completely works for adults and is a great game, so if you don't have kids there's no reason to avoid it. However, if you have kids, you'll love playing it with them.

How do I know this version is actually published by Fantasy Flight games and not a counterfeit?

Well, if you ever find a version printed by fantasy flight, it’s a fake. This game is produced by Plaid Hat Games, not fantasy flight games.

Why does the description say this is from fantasy flight games when its plaid hat games that makes it?

I think it should say Plaid Hat Games, although both Fantasy Flight Games and Plaid Hat Games are part of the Asmodee Group.
