Great product that really streamlines the work and time involved in cleaning many decent sized fish. I catch a fair amount of walleye on Lake Erie every year and this knife makes the cleaning a more pleasant shorter time duration task than hand filleting. Powerful, long lasting, and SO much faster to clean fish! Never had battery give out on me, 30 perch/walleye no problem. I use these to remove ribs and skin from backbone then remove ribs from fillets with a 7" rapala fillet knife. Once you get the hang of it takes maybe 45 seconds a fish. That's a huge difference from before I had this electric (battery) knife. Have also cleaned at same table as a friend with the "other" top brand electric knife and I wouldn't trade based on performance. Only drawback is the blades are not as universal as the other knives. He can easily find less aggressive and cheaper replacement blades, but he paid almost 100.00 more. I highly recommend!
