RevoBeard Beard Shaping Kit

I tossed this in the trash. Using these kinds of things didn't really help me get good even lines any better than I can do with a straight razor. Just buy a straight razor to line things up.

Definitely my for ambidextrous people and those with small heads.

The main problem with beard templates is the obvious fact no two faces are the same. This was my second styling tool I had purchased, and I must say it works perfectly with my face shape and pre-existing cheek line. Initially, I had bought a clear, rigid plastic one (also sold on Amazon) and quickly discovered it didnt work for me. Rigid plastic is a bad idea overall, because who here has a flat face? A little bend is essential. Also, why do manufacturers insist on adding built-in combs to these things? They are no better quality than the cheap plastic ones you can buy by the dozen at any grocery store... and anyone who's done thier research into beard combs knows this is bad for your beard. Another thing RevoBeard does right: no frills. You wouldnt think the color of the product was something important, but red shows up well on virtually all beards. Try using a black template on a dark beard sometime. And clear *sounds* like a good idea, but in practice its actually harder to line-up and tell what will/won't be cut. Overall, this is a SOLID product that works exceptionally well for me.

This is a great accessory to have in your collection if you keep your beard edged and neat. I found it nearly impossible to make my beard symmetrical on my own. This helps a ton. A note on use - at first I would bend it to the shape of my face when edging. But I found I couldn't do it the same from both sides. So what I have been doing is like up the guide how you want it, and just adjust the angle of the guide so that it is in contact with the whole edge line. I hope that made sense.I definitely recommend. And the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the black arrows that help you line it up evenly have faded/rubbed off so it's more challenging to use for me.

I just want to start off by saying that this is a great product, and tool, but not for certain beards and faces. I’m a bigger dude so I found that the neck line feature didn’t work great since it would fit my neck, but it would be fantastic for smaller guys. The tool would work great for men who can’t grow a lot of facial hair and have to keep it short and well defined. My beard doesn’t look good that way so it didn’t work for me, but as I mentioned, it would be great for shorter beards.The quality could be better. All the ink markings and labels wore away after the first use. I know it’s only $10 but I would expect the product to withstand regular use despite that.Final opinion: this tool would be great for men who can’t grow out their facial hair and have to keep it short and well defined, and who have a more defined jaw line than myself. It’s a wonderful design, but just didn’t work for me

is it a gimmick ? is it worth spending the money ??? what is different about this then other product like this ??? i will try to answer all these question best i can is it a gimmick ? no is it worth spending the money...yes... what is different about this then other product ? i dont know this is my first time trying this out .... i saw the photos and read reviews about this so i say why not try it and see ... i will say this is hard plastic so its easy to hold in place and use .. i have no issue or problems using this item it works flawless... and for once i have a nice...neat,,straight lines beard

There is nothing worse than screwing up a well groomed and maintain aged beard. Shave a little too much off one side, then you try to even up on the other side and just end up messing your look up... Then you end up just getting frustrated and shaving the whole thing off. This product really does help with making sure you don't make a significant errors. Be sure to use the guide arrows and have standard consistent placements. Rather than using a razor with it, I will use a pair of clippers which gives me my exact lines. That way I can go back over with a razor in the shower. Can only speak to the benefit of the cheek & mustache guides, I didn't use the neckline guide. Definitely saves me a lot of time and guesswork. Pros:- after one use it worked pretty good and happy with the results- i would recommend it to any one else looking to try itCons:- could be a bit more bendable to bend to your face- the black letters and marks on the template started to come off just after one use- didn't use the goatee part but it seems a bit hard to use when the way they have you use it.

Handy tool - the first couple of uses, I thought I might not continue to use it, but as my facial hair grew in, and I kept trimming it with the guide, I noticed a difference in the overall look of my beard and now I will continue to use it.

One of the most frustrating things I deal with when shaving is cutting into my beard as I try and shape it. After using the RevoBeard for nearly 2 months now, I haven't faced that issue once. A simple concept that works wonders. The ink on the plastic piece itself rubbed off on my finger one morning, but that's not a big issue. I'd definitely recommend this.

Be aware, Not eligible for a return. Bought it as a gift, didn't use it once, stencil was to long, requested a return. Nope.I get it, this is a personal hygiene and totally that needs to be Paramount. However maybe marketing should think outside the box a little like Maybe put a paper stencil in the package and have a customer measure that against their face and have the actual stencil in a sealed bag that can be returned if not opened vs a cheap sandwich bag with a zero return policy. Hope this can be recycled.
