I had a rough time trying to figure out how to get this shaker to grind the salt crystals down, but once I got it figured out, it was a good purchase. The chingadera was too tight when it was new. It's all good now & I'm good with this item.

I thought these were normal grinders but I was wrong. You have to grind the salt/pepper to get it into the lid, and then slide it over for the holes to come up and shake it out, which hardly works as it doesn't grind very fine and the holes are tiny. Definitely disappointed and would not recommend.

I purchased these salt and pepper shakers just 5 months ago and the salt shaker has already come apart. The mechanics completely broke off of the glass part this morning while I was cooking. Thus dumpling a ton of salt into and ruining my breakfast. Very disappointing.

I liked the size of the grinder but I had to figure out how it worked. Doesn't seem to have adjustments for different granules. It grinds very fine salt.

I like this because the grinder is on the top. My other grinder sat with the grinder on the bottom and there was always pepper all over where it sat. The plastic lids with the shaker holes aren't very functional but I use them without the lids so not a problem.

It works best if you take the cap off to grind it over your food. Grinding it then trying to sprinkle the salt out through the sprinkle holes doesn't work well.

Just be aware that it comes empty. The pictures show it loaded. I probably should have read the small print but just be aware you will need to buy salt and pepper separately.
