Question 1

The handle of the canning scoop started slipping off.  This could be a dangerous disaster.  Any suggestions?  Can't find contact info for company.

Thought I would add another response to this. I have had mine a couple years but this was the first time I used it. I was making jelly. When I went to pour the very first scoop of BOILING jelly I dipped  out the scoop portion slipped right off the handle spilling things everywhere. Luckily my other hand was not resting on the stovetop or anywhere near the ladle. That would have ended with a very bad burn. I am so totally disappointed with this. I just started canning after a long hiatus and this was my first batch.  After cleaning everything up, including the scoop, I tried  pretending to ladle something out and it did not fall off. It had to be the weight of something in the scoop portion. The scoop will very easily pull off the handle though. I have other items from this manufacturer that I love. In my opinion this one is dangerous.

Do any lefties use this...is it lefty compatible? Have both right hand and left hands in this household plus one who can use both.

Hi,  I'm left handed and this is made so that either right or left handed can easily use it.  I love it.  big one cup scoop and it really does work as advertized.
