Halloween mystery
I really enjoyed this book. I felt like I couldn't put it down. It's a fun ride to read how Jessica tries to solve a murder at Halloween time. This was an enjoyable story and the fact that it took place around Halloween added a nice atmosphere to it. As a fan of the Murder she wrote tv show, this book was really enjoyable.

This book is like a trip down memory lane. I always watched the television series "Murder, She Wrote" and these books are a good follow-up. As I am reading them, I can visualize the television program happening.

Cute, easy Halloween read
I liked this book better than other Murder, She Wrote stories. It was more full. Lots of characters to keep up with in this one but I liked it! fun to read in October

Just a little bit spooky and perfect for a great Halloween read
As always, I felt just like I was watching an episode of Murder, She Wrote while reading this book. All the charm of Cabot Cove was there along with the colorful groups of town folks and fun little businesses.I wasn't sure who the killer was, but in true Jessica fashion, everyone was gathered for the reveal. By this time, Sheriff Mort wasn't having a heart attack every time Jessica tried to join the investigation. In fact, he valued her opinions and asked her to come with him on different occasions. I loved the Halloween theme to this mystery and the creepy graveyard setting at night where the body was found. Just like on the show, there was a fun little ending as well.

Terrific cozy mystery series!
Spending Halloween with Jessica and Seth and Mort is lots of fun, especially when a self-proclaimed witch is found dead near an ancient graveyard. Jess figures everything out, of course, with Mort's help. A terrific cozy mystery series.

Murder, She Wrote: Trick or Treachery: Trick or Treachery (Murder She Wrote)
Murder, She Wrote: Trick or Treachery is a nice, light read. It is perfect to read during a thunderstorm with a blanket wrapped around you or curling up in a big comfy chair, next to a fire with a cup of warm cider.
