God Loves You: He Always Has--He Always Will

Title Says Everything!
If the author is David Jeremiah, what's not to like. He is definitely a gifted writer, teacher and preacher and never fails to produce a good read. Every topic is Biblically sound and doctrinally correct.

He always has, He always will
Dr. David Jeremiah has written a book that explains how much God loves you and how you should love God, yourself, your neighbor as He loves you and that His love for you is constant, unchanging and eternal. Dr. Jeremiah uses Gods Commandments and Gospel stories, in particular the Prodigal Son, to explain the width, depth and height of Gods love for us. If you have any doubts about the extent of Gods love for us you should read this book. You will come away enlightened and hopeful and accepting of this Love and experience peace in your life.

What a Joy that God Loves THOSE WHO ARE HIS!
This is a good book by pastor Jeremiah, but has some theological flaws. Also, he cites some people who could not been referenced in a biblical book! Anyway, he is a great communicator and explains the different areas where the love of God is displayed towards His people. A good read.

This is one of the best books I have ever read
This is one of the best books I have ever read. As I read I was totally overcome by the love of God which I felt in a real and tangible way. I wish everyone could read this book. I've bought several copies to share!

I like his use of stories to illustrate his point
I found this book to be positive, Scriptural, and practical. I like his use of stories to illustrate his point. I especially liked his practical explanations. For example, in the section on the 5th commandment he doesn't just say don't do it or you will get it. He, rather, says, if you care for your aging parents your children will see this and follow your example. If you do this action this result is going to happen and your Father is trying to spare you. He goes in depth on every aspect of love. The section on eternal life ("God loves you and wants you with Him forever") is encouraging. I would recommend this book for everyone, especially those who need encouragement and those who wonder if the Lord really loves them.

God Loves Me
Here is one we need to be reminded of again and again. God loves us desperately. If there is one fault it is only that the author leaves out the truth that belief requires us to do what God says. He stops short in making belief a confirmation of the mind (ie I believe in Jesus) rather than stating that belief requires action on our part. Belief means that we will do what God tells us to. All conversions in the book of Acts require belief, repentance, baptism and a confession. All of these are required for our salvation.

From other angles
Sometimes takes it from angles not emphasized by others. As in the Prodigal Son, examining it through the lens of the Father, less so from the 2 sons. I really liked this part. Actually learned new things, such as how in that era, the son asking for his inheritance is actually asking the father to drop dead. And how the other son also received his inheritance also, yet wasn't satisfied.

God does love us.
Sometimes we get so down with worries and troubles we wonder if God lives us. He does. An excellent book.
