I considered buying an electric grinder but preferred a manual grinder. I was surprised to find this. I don't use it for traveling, I use it to make French Press coffee at home, which requires a coarser grind than the typical size found in ground coffee purchased at stores. I keep the size the same, which I arrived at by trial and error, since there are no size settings, which was fine for me since I only purchased for the reason of making the one size. I like the quality of the materials and the bag supplied for storage, which includes a brush for cleaning it out.

Works great. Easy to use and built sturdy.Gets at least fine enough for drip and french press. I'm sure it can get much finer since I'm not at the finest setting. It's easy to clean but I don't see the need to clean it everyday, brush it and its done. Disassemble and soak once a week seems fine, just don't lose the spring.Takes about 2 mins to grind 10g of beans. Fine for 1 or 2 cups. Any more and you might want a powered grinder.

This is well packaged and works great. If I could lock the top part on while grinding it’d be better but I really like that it breaks down for storage. The brush is a bit big and brittle but I had another on hand and it’s not strictly necessary. The pouch makes it a good gift too

I use for expresso ground coffee beans. Works well. Downside it's a bit of a work out to grind enough beans for two people. Useful for office or traveling.

I love Bretani coffee accessories; I really do. This conical burr grinder is small, compact, manual, but most important, it is capable. It just works. This clever little device is adjustable from very fine to very coarse grinds and the cup holds enough beans and grinds for my French press. Grinding does take a little time and I am beginning to really develop my forearms now. No kidding. I chose a manual grinder for two reasons. I wanted something compact that doesn't take up much space, didn't require a 10 year HELOC loan to purchase, but was a conical burr grinder so I would have a uniform, coarse coffee grind for the French press. This grinder was perfect. Don't let the low price fool you. If you don't use it to drive nails, bust windows, or knock a few heads, then it will work well for you. Give it a go.
