The is an ABSOLUTE MUST HAVE BOOK!!
This book is the best book I have ever seen with relation to colour, colour theory, how colour connects with nature, natural history, zoology, insects, rocks/stones/minerals and a must have for people interested in art and colour. This book is like an encyclopaedia. It’s so beautifully made, and the presentation is exceptionally stunning!!This book covers the origins, development and influence of Werner’s Nomenclature of colour. In the top corner of each page there is a colour and the pictures relate to the colour. The layout is so stunning, exceptional well laid out. It has pull out sections. There has been no expense spared with this book. This book would make an incredible gift for an artist as it’s a book you would treasure for life, but also use as a reference guide tool when needing to refer to colour.I think this book should be in every school/university/library because it’s so comprehensive and so incredible and inspiring.

An inspiring book for an artist's studio!
Beautifully produced, this book is full of information and high quality illustrations and photos. An inspiring book for nature lovers and people who love colour! I bought this to keep on my studio bookshelf and it's one that I know I'll refer to again and again. It will provide great colour palette inspiration. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this book - it's one of the most beautiful and useful books I've seen in a long time.

Detailed & Historical
Very detailed and historical. Not a light read, and would definately require reading parts of the book twice to gain a greater understanding of the contents.

Beautiful book
Gorgeous book, just to browse through or use practically - I went down a rabbit hole mixing various oranges and lost quite a few hours! Thoroughly recommend.

Nice looking book, but not what I needed - returned.
This is a nice looking book,I'd wanted this book principally for botanical colour matching, but as much of the book focuses on fauna rather than flora, it wasn't the right one for me.Also, many of the colour samples at the front of the book are miniscule; 2.5mm square is a GENEROUS estimate.A shame, as I'd been really looking forward to this one.Returned.

Bon livre

Paints Exemplified
🦜’If u don’t see the book u want on the shelf, write it.’ AND @anatomyofcolour @delhispearman has done exactly that. This 📕 has helped me tremendously during my home decor paint 🎨 evaluation on various materials from Tiles to fabrics to wood to glass ♥️

A good addition to your library
Fine print. But the handwriting print on colour plates is too small. Icons are also very small and can make sense only if you read extensively.
