Maybe fine for drums
Don't expect to use this for other stuff. At gain levels for vocals this can pick up a fair bit of electrical interference (same as V7) and the noise from vibrations traveling up the boom arm is by far the worst I've ever heard on any mic. Much much worse than the regular V7 vocal version even though when unscrewing the grills they appear to have the same rubber shock mount around the capsule.
