So pretty! Really lovely necklace
I’m really pleased with this lovely necklace, it’s much nicer than I was expecting. It arrived beautifully presented in a box and bag. First impressions are good, the pearls are very uniform, with just slight natural variation in shape if you study them very carefully. The necklace feels cold when you put it on, a sign of real pearls. Although these are farmed pearls, it would be nice to know a little more about their origin. The clasp is described as alloy with no more details. It’s a very shiny silver and seems good quality with no tarnishing so far. A shame it’s not silver though. The pearls are well strung with no gaps, but enough give to sit nicely. The length is relatively short at 40cm (43cm max), I find it sits nicely on my collarbone, but worth checking the length of other jewellery you own to be sure.Overall I think this is really pretty, a real classic for your jewellery box at a great price.

Lovely Necklace, but Overpriced for Freshwater Pearls
This was the second necklace ordered for my wife, the first having a single freshwater pearl within a gold plated pendant, whilst this necklace features a string of freshwater pearls. The plain packaging and simple gold coloured presentation boxes were identical for both necklaces, the velvet style pouches within the boxes were also identical. With many considering them to be old fashioned, pearl string necklaces can more often than not be an acquired taste, however, my wife found the necklace to be quite lovely, and has already worn it on numerous occasions. Having said that, a price of £38.45 (when ordered) is expensive for freshwater pearls, especially considering the length of this necklace, thirty pounds (maximum) would be a far more realistic figure, and would obviously be much better value for money.

Not overwhelming
This necklace is quite nicely presented, in a fairly good lined box in a plain slipcover with a drawstring pouch and cloth. The small necklace consists of sixty-five evenly-sized cultured pearls strung without knots apart from the last two or three on each side, terminating in a silver-coloured chain and clasp with a small tag stamped with the gN name. There are no silver markings. The pearls themselves are irregular in shape and quite varied, ranging from nearly-spherical to pear drop. This at least shows that they are natural. I have included photos to help you make up your own mind.
