I was skeptical about an outdoor cooling fans ability to actually cool you off but this thing is the real deal. The fan is powerful, the mist is so fine you don't have a wet feeling but it definitely cools your body up to about 8 feet away Only complaint is you have to use 2 separate outlets to run it one for the fan and one for the water system. Would have been nice to have them incorporated together, still worth every penny. Now we enjoyed sitting outside in the Tennessee heat and still stay cool.

Very hard assembling the mister fan. Once finished we plugged it in. No feeling of a moist mist. Not even close to working correctly. A total waste of money. Very disappointed. Will have to disassemble and send back. Even more time spent.

We live in Texas, and we like to sit out on our back deck and listen to music, have a few cocktails, etc...When it's 90+ degrees that's not very comfortable. This fan brings the temp down at least 10+ degrees.Exactly what we were looking for and not horrible expensive too noisy.It does take two plugs to operate but worth the extra socket to relax on the deck.

The fan has nice look and works perfectly as we use it for the balcony. It does not give the industrial power however pretty effective for Florida summer. We purchased it hoping for refreshing mist. It is a right amount coming out of it as we did not want too much moist in face no furniture. Remote is a cool feature at hand. The only observation is water dripping from the bottom of tank. Not sure if is a condensation or assembly mistake. There are no cracks or wholes so hope is a temporary inconvenience. It may cause issue if fan use in door: floor or carpet. No other reviews mentioned this problem though..

Doesn't mist as implied, in fact, water comes out bottom of the fan. Although Amazon offered to replace it, by the time you try to disassemble and ship back, just not worth it. Keeping as a fan because that part is TERRIFIC especially the settings. But I'll look for a new misting fan

This blew hot air around. If you stood right directly in front of it, within inches, a small amount of mist came out. It was a challenge to assemble. Not at all what it claimed to be.

This component should just snap in place on the front of the fan. But it just doesn’t. I had to disassemble the fan cage to get it in place. Still unsure that it is securely attached. Without it; you have a nice quite fan without mist.

The misting does nothing to cool off my area. You cannot feel the mist unless I literally are touching the fan. I’m disappointed. Not quite worth the money.
