We Love these lights.We already had a 12v lighting system so the 12v transformers were already here. All we had to do was to cut off the connectors that came with the lights and splice them into our system.One thing that I would advise is to cover the connection point so that water doesn't leach its way into the Now Cut cord of the light string.BTW: Once you cut off the connector that comes with the string lights and cut back on the insulation, you are left with the standard two (black & red) wires to splice into your 12v accent light system.

I purchased 4 strands and have installed 3 so far. It only took 3 weeks before one strand died. We will see if the other 2 follow suit.

Color temperature was off. These gave out a bluish-white hue that was rather harsh. Not warm white as advertised. So we took an orange sharpie and "painted" every single one of the LEDs with it. Made the light much more pleasing to the eye.

Easy to install. I used around deck and plugged into my 12v solar array with no problems. Perfect for low voltage lighting

I was disappointed that these lights were not as warm as they appear in the picture. They are much whiter and more harsh than pictured. Otherwise the lights work.

This stuff is just lovely. I lit the inside of my super cute solar powered teardrop trailer with it, and couldn't be happier.
