I bought this tail light because it says 120+ lumens. The truth is, I am sure this is not even close to 120lm. I am very sensitive about lumen brightness, and I love how lights are measured by lumens nowadays. I personally own a 1000lm, 960lm, 450lm, and a 208lm flashlights. Currently, my bicycle head light is Serfas True 750 (750lm max / 200lm low), and the tail light is Serfas Thunderbolt (35lm max / 20lm low). I am disappointed after I compared this Night Provision Duo 120 with my 35 lumens Serfas Thunderbolt. It says 120lm, but it is dimmer than 35lm even on its brightness setting. I think this light is only about 30 lumen at max level of brightness, and I hate how people are not being honest about the product they are selling. I can provide pictures and evidences if proof is needed. The only reason I give it 2 stars because of the battery life, and I have to admit the battery runtime is longer than I expect. Not as accurate as the spec says, but very close.

I use this and the other red/white one I bought for the front, every ride. It has all red flashing option so I use that instead of the blue for a tail light. However, I could use the blue and red flashing mode if I decide to pursue some bank robbers or a stolen car...which I have elected NOT to do on my bike as yet. Nice bright light that stays strong for multiple short rides without recharging. Just make sure you use thread locker on the tiny mount screw, or check it for tightness if you turn the light housing in the mount at all....it will come loose if you are not doing this or checking it before each ride. I could hear mine start to rattle and noticed it coming loose on a ride. One turn of the light assembly while mounted on the bike tightened it up for the rest of the ride, and didn't even need to stop riding to do this. Dirt cheap price for significant safety improvement.

These little lights are worth the money so far.Plus & minus together 😁;1. They are properly sealed, making it good water proof. Just make sure the rubber s for the charging port is properly sealed, I took mine off and used clear tape to protect them.2. Long press the button for constant red/blue flashing, good for me as a VFF.3. Short press the button and you can cycle thru all the different patterns. This is very useful if you are a firefighter like me.4. Very visible mostly in low light conditions, while still effective in daylight. Just don't think these are $100 emergency lights. But as I said before, they are great and worth the money.5. Flexible mounting rubber, just hope it doesn't break too quickly especially after facing the elements of hot & cold 🙂.Overall I think they make a better choice for any cyclist. 👍👍👍
