Perfect, does exactly what you would expect it to do

Nice grip, well made and easy to replace the blades

Works really well - takes a bit of getting used to.The blades sometimes comes a little loose which can lead to the blade sticking out a bit more.Easily rectified and easily noticed if you keep an eye on the blade (happens maybe once every 15-20 blades).

The kit was missing the blade so unable to use

First thing I noticed about this cut throat is it’s beatifically packaged, you get a nice box and an even better looking case to keep it in. The cut throat it self is great, the black and gold finish makes it stand out.It’s easy to put a razor in, I ordered some Derby’s from Amazon. I’m new to using a straight razor, but I touched up my beard and it handles really well. I will buy from these guys again and advise anyone looking for a straight razor to get this one!

To the best of my knowledge and experience of having one before a couple of years ago, I would have thought the blade handle was supposed to sit nicely under the hard plastic cover when closed. Thus, safe to handle or store. However, in this piece example its physically impossible due to the blade holder bigger then the space available between the plastic lug. It appears as though it was either designed by someone incompetent or manufacturer error, or I’m wrong and safety is irrelevant.

Good product, well packaged, fair price. Never used one before but this was a really good intro kit. Blades not included but these were easily available in boxes of 100 for less than £3.50👍🏽
