Review: Love these swivels - Love these swivels. Very small size, smaller than most other swivels, and well-made also. I use them to join braid/nanofil mainlines to my leader. desertcart had a great price on these, and were one of the few places I could find the 50-pack. Although these swivels are great, and I will continue to use them, I've since found a better solution to joining line to leader -- tippet rings. Do an online search for them, they are extremely lightweight and will literally float on the water if needed, but have enough strength.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: what pound test are the swivels?**
A: Size #2 is 230 pound test!  Understand that I am a commercial fisherman and the size of Spro swivels I purchase has nothing to do with its strength.  The strength of these swivels are so great that,unless you are going blue water fishing, it is really academic.  I purchase the size of a swivel that suits my purpose.    For example, if I was to use 30 pound test mono line, I would not purchase any size smaller than a #4  (130 pound test) since the stainless steel eye is so fine it would create a weak spot in the mono line where it wraps around the eye.  These swivels which come in packs of fifty which is usually more cost effective than purchasing smaller numbers in a pack.  While not a ball bearing swivel, they turn so smoothly and are so compact, that I would never go back to using any other swivel.

**Q: How do they hold up for sailing?  Where do you use them?  How have the held up?**
A: They are for fishing, you use them in the water to catch fish. They hold up well if you use them for what they are made for.

**Q: A size chart would be useful!??**
A: don't really know the dimension , but the one's I bought were Size 4 , 130 lbs. test ..

A: I fish in the ocean with them and have landed a  6 foot tiger shark and have taken massive strikes. This is my swivel of choice..  The swivel is solid and is super strong.  Your 100 lbs line or the knots that you tie will fail before this Spro Swivel,
