Well worth the money!
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. This rucksack has a lot of space. You can pack camping supplies, a sleeping bag, or other gear you need to carry. The one I received was in very good condition. All the straps and zippers worked well. The rucksack comes with a frame that moves the weight off your shoulders and onto your hips and legs. This makes carrying heavy loads much easier. Compared to a regular daypack or many store‑brand backpacks, this one is worth the money. Cleaning is simple. Take the sack off the frame, wash it by hand, let it dry indoors, and then put it back together.

Huge, sturdy ruck - good for serious bug-out bag
A buddy of mine who was is ex-Army recommended this when I was complaining about how a lot of rucksacks just don't seem to have enough space for holding everything you might need. Those bag designers (and buyers) often are concerned only with water bladders and putting a few snacks in them, as if that's all one ever needs to carry? My buddy said it was way better than what he carried while serving, and I've seen/heard others with similar comments, so I went for this one. I wanted to get something that would last. Note: I see the product description has changed some since I bought mine, with a note about no side-pouches. Mine came from a Kentucky depot, and has the side compartments as seen in the picture. This thing is expensive, but it's definitely a good addition to your camping, hiking or 'bug-out' situation. I was surprised by how large it was, so I won't likely be riding the bike with this thing on my back, but in walking/hiking situations it's fine. It is strong and has ample room - felt like I could fit my toddler in there (was tempted). Good, strong zippers, tough shoulder straps and Molle-equipped for everything you would need to attach. The back frame support is sturdy as well. There is a lateral divider, about 2/3 down the ruck, with a zipper, so I was able to put a bed roll vertically with the divider only half-way zipped, and still have the two 'compartments' vertically divided otherwise. There are definitely a lot of options, regardless of what you have to haul. I got second-looks and positive comments when people saw it. It was tough to get on the bus with how much stuff I crammed into it, but I managed (stepped in sideways). It'd definitely be a concern if you were in areas with tight clearances. Though you can use merely the rucksack as-is, it's limiting what it is capable of providing. As with many platforms, you have to 'accessorize' once you get the base product. My advice is to get the various Molle clips (ie. Blackhawk or Tactical Gear), d-rings, carbiners and straps if you want to attach a bunch of Molle bags and other gear. You will likely want a quick-detachable med-kit sort of Molle bag as well. They're a good investment and will extend the options and capabilities of your ruck. I was able to attach things like a hand axe or a heavy flashlight with Tactical Gear's 'multipurpose fastener'.

Good except internal coating is done
In overall good shape, a bit dirty but not unreasonable. Has a name written in sharpie on one of the shoulder straps, whatever. Frame is good, all straps serviceable, and sustainment pouches were fine. The inside of the pack however, is nasty; the poly coating used for waterproofing the material is shot and completely broken down to the consistency of adhesive goo. Washing it a few times in hot water with a lot of detergent helped a lot. I also dyed the bag and straps in the washing machine (black rit dye really takes the edge off UCP, flattens it down to a grayish green) and I always use quite a bit of dish detergent and vinegar when I do that. It cleaned out okay, not perfect but for my purpose of this being a travel pack with emergency kit to go between vehicles and be reasonable to ruck out it's fine.

Awesome!
I was expecting something used, but was surprised to find out it was brand spanking new! It's a massive bag and absolutely awesome! If you're looking for something to carry EVERYTHING, this is it! Arrived in perfect condition, bag, shoulder straps, kidney pad, two sustainment pouches, fully assembled and genuine US Issue. You really can't beat the price if you're looking for a backpack that can carry everything and is built like a tank. Keep in mind it's a very heavy pack as it's designed for hard Military use. If you're looking for something light weight to do some through hiking, don't even think about getting something like this, but if you want something you can strap the whole house down too without it breaking apart, this is the pack you want. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a bug out type bag. It will carry a very heavy load, more than most of us can carry actually.

Great pack- even better price.
My pack came in and I had to name it “The Behemoth-“ fittingly. This pack is simply massive. It is heavy, it is rugged. You can stow your life in this pack. It came a little dirty but in great shape. I took it on a 15 mile hike, and it was comfortable enough. So many possible add ons for molle and compression straps for tieing it down. If your thinking about this pack- just get it. For the money you won’t find a comparable pack that will be as durable as this one. 60 bucks gets you a rucksack that will probably outlast you. Leaders pocket pouch fits on the waist belt, good for maps.

This thing is big and beautiful. Total customization to fit your gear
Wow! This thing is big and beautiful. Total customization to fit your gear, and your body/back, for any adventure. Came exactly as described - actually exceeded my expectations for a used rucksack. USA Military Store gets it done and done right! Update 8/1/17 I have now had a chance to use the MOLLE II in quite a few situations. It is remarkably versatile due to the ability to utilize the included sustainment pouches, and to separate the bottom of the pack from the top half. There are compression straps built in to the body of the pack, and the suspension has easily adjustable shoulder, chest, and waist straps, plus load lifters on the top of the harness. I really like the external frame, as it allows me to carry a large weight with it well distributed on my back, shoulders, and hips. I have also removed the waist and shoulder harness and used the bag as a platform for gear on a kayak trip. I slipped a 70 liter dry bag inside and I had an extremely durable dry bag system for my gear. The main drawback to the MOLLE II is its weight, as it is close to 10 pounds empty. This is not a bag to use for lightweight purposes. It is built to carry big heavy loads without fear of material failure. My pack usually weighs around 40 -45 pounds, and based on the math of distribution concepts that are available from many experts, I am slightly ahead of the game at that weight with this pack. The more weight in the pack, the more it pays off to have this style bag. I just love the durability and have complete confidence in this bag to take whatever I can dish out, and whatever environmental stressors hit this pack. One other issue I do not like about this pack is the top closure. It has a drawstring at the top, and compression straps that pull down vertically, but this gaps and if the pack it really full at the top, it is a sloppy fit. I also purchased the Assault Pack for the MOLLE II system, and that is a great addition to your load out. The Assault Pack can attach to the Rucksack via 8 straps that hold it rock solid in place. I have used several other brands of back pack, and the MOLLE II is the one I find myself reaching for everytime. It is a great size, it fits so comfortable, and it is so durable. This pack fits in more of a wide way, rather than in a tall way, which helps maintain the center of it's mass closer the center of my mass, increasing balance and mobility. My last complaint about the MOLLE II is the ACU camo, as it is not particularly the best looking pattern. But, I do not care, as I look at the function or utilitarian nature of the pack before I consider how it looks.

Broken belt, damaged frame, not new item
Not a new ruck sack as advertised, the previous owner cleaned very well lol, but there are many writings, tapes marks and tapes which i didnt mind, but....... the hip belt is broken and frame is damaged, so it's time to return, will never buy again (bought for $147)

A great rucksack
I decided I needed a new rucksack so I purchased this one. It is adjustable and customizable; there are plenty of YouTube vids out there that will teach you how to do this if you don't know how. Once you get the hang of it you will see that it is a simple yet intuitive method on how to adjust your ruck, and it only takes a few minutes. Once dialed in the rucksack fits comfortably. It has a 17 gallon/65 liter/5,000 cubic inch capacity - this thing is big, plenty of room for anything you need, and also durable and waterproof.
