Universal Nutrition BCAA Stack - Branched Chain Amino Acids with Glutamine, Lemon Lime

I work a labor job 2nd shift so I continually need fuel to keep my muscles charged and prevent them from diminishing. This product, after taking for about a month and a half, allowed my muscles to feel less sore and i was able to still carry on with my work load. I apply two to three scoops to a full gallon of water every time i work so i go thru these small tubs quite fast, but it is well worth it.

Some BCAA powders are best left in a chem lab but this is a great tasting grape drink that goes down easy and gives you an immediate release of BCAA's and glutamine. I love this stack and start every work out with a serving.

Please don't think this is some one-shot wonder to maximize your workout - I think too man people have misconceptions that "stacks" or these sorts of pre/post workouts will increase muscle size. This helps you to regain the lost amino-acids after a strenuous workout. Amino acids make polypeptides which make proteins, so it will help you recover but don't expect to see massive gains. As far as the taste goes - it's decent. But I can't stand the texture of this item, it's so hard for it to mix in with water because it's so refined. BY FAR the best tasting BCAA I've tried. Really, all of them contain the same amount of Branched Chain, so that's not the issue. It always comes down to taste. I've even taken this without water - or mix it with VERY little water (think shot glass). OR I've mixed in a tall glass with ice and sip (as a treat when I'm cutting for a competition). I do mark it down a little because it contains aspertame... I've tried another BCAA that uses Stevia - but it doesn't taste as good (perhaps why Coke is taking so long with their Stevia soda - aspertame just tasted better). This mixes "ok" but does require some fork action - in a shaker or with a palm over the cup (or a in a bottle) its just fine.

This product is really very good. For years I used to take BCAA. When I found out about glutamine, I thought it would be a good product to start taking. Then a friend of mine showed me this BCAA Stack that comes with BCAA and glutamine. Just Perfect!Instead of buying two different products you need to buy only one that comes with both within.

I don’t know what the flavor is, but it’s not grape. I will not buy this again.

To me the grape doesnt taste as good as the orange, but who realy cares because this product does work pretty well. I do notice a difference in the gym, my muscles dont fatigue as quick. I know my body and i know what point in my routine my muscles strart to fatigue, with the BCAAs my muscles are going a lil longer before gassing out.

I was interested in finding a BCAA supplement that was affordable and low in sugars as a supplement to my protein shakes. This product fit the bill very well. However, packaging can be deceiving and the container is much smaller than it looks. however, it packs the amount of BCAAs it advertises in a great-tasting, low-sugar, grape flavoring. I highly recommend this. There are superior products but they cost a lot more per serving.
