As usual Torres...hits it out of the park!
Amazing characters, loved the whole book! The banter and the steel spine of the heroine make it thoroughly enjoyable. And of course, the De Luca essence....

Tender moments and verbal jousting, in just the right mix
You know when you read a book and the pages just keep turning by themselves into the early hours of the morning. Well this is one of those.Loved the story, characters and town. Oh and the chicken.... sorry rooster. The story is obviously a rags to riches, will they won't they love story for the heroine Summer. Who is as light and breezy as her name. Until she's annoyed. I really enjoyed this about her character. I often wanted someone to provoke her, just to see the quick tempered reactions. (I think everyone should have a bit of Summers attitude in them.) Normally aimed at Cole. She's a fiery spirit with a secret to hide, that she is hurting from. The seriously sexy Hollywood heart throb, Cole Masten. Who is used to getting his own way, but has just had his heart broken. Gets put on a plane to Quincy. To keep out of trouble. But trouble is stood on a pouch in the form of Summer. He just can't work her out, and loves to push her buttons. With vulnerability on display and not knowing weather to listen to his head and his heart, he struggles to understand not only himself but the woman with the southern spitfire attitude. All while dealing with a pet. (Who I think steals the show, and teaches Cole about looking after someone else and not just his own needs)The book is in both Summer and Cole's eye's. Which I think helps to really understand both the characters and the struggle they both have. Fast paced. With lots of chemistry, that both characters try to avoid. Not wanting to get their hearts broken again. Of course (as is always the way, with a story like this) you root for the characters to sort their differences out and get together. The chemistry jumps right of the page. With tender moments and verbal jousting, in the right mix.A must read.

Fantastic - Loved it
Fantastic. This hit all the buttons for me. Celebrity romance with a small town flavour. Cute local girl. I fell in love with both Cole & Summer. And the story was terrific. It's always nice when ready romance when you walk away feeling you've learned a little something. This is one of those books I'd keep handy to read again.

5 STARS – Unbelievably seductive and enslaving Hollywood Dirt will enthrall you!!!!!
“He didn’t ask questions; he didn’t do anything but yank at his shorts, and push, bare and beautiful, inside me. In that moment, that push, I lost every hold I had on myself and became his.”Welcome to Quincy.Population 7,800.Home of the Coca Cola millionaires.Filming Location for Fortune Bottle. It also just happens to be the home of Summer Jenkins. Summer made local headlines after her epically famous and now infamous rehearsal dinner. Since that fateful night Summer has one goal in mind, to leave Quincy and never look back. Living with her mother whom she adores and working on the Anna Holden plantation on which they live has grown old for Summer, she just wants a fresh start, in a place where she can disappear and no one knows of her past. When the opportunity of a lifetime presents itself Summer needs only a moment to decide to jump on the Hollywood crazy train that will be rolling into Quincy in a few short weeks to film a major motion picture. Making herself useful and earning enough cash to escape the stigma of her past becomes her sole mission.“I would not become my mother. I wanted, in some way, to live my life.”Cole Masten, the golden boy of Hollywood, he can do no wrong and is heading to Quincy, to make the movie that will define his career, not only as it’s male lead but as the head of the entire production. Funding Fortune Bottle personally it’s Cole’s baby and his dream come true. Having a beautiful and famous wife, Cole is a man that seems to have everything in life that he could possibly want, but that is all about to change. One night changes everything for Cole and suddenly he finds himself in a position he’d never dreamed of. Fresh off the ultimate betrayal he’s sent to Quincy by his attorney, Brad DeLuca (cue swooning ladies…He’s Back) early to begin work on the project that he’s championed for. Summer and Cole are about to come face to face and the results are going to explosive in more ways than one.*wink* *waggles eyebrows* *wink*“Kiss me like that again and I’ll rip your eyes from their sockets.”“I hated that man; he was an a**hole unlike I’d ever known.”Hollywood Dirt is one hell of a ride. It’s the story that once you begin you won’t be able to walk away from. I dove into this book late last night, exhausted and feeling ill, and yet I had to fight with myself to put it down and go to sleep. I found myself falling head over heels for Summer, right away. I loved her personality, her sass, her southern charm, and her spunk. Quickly afterwards I found myself both loving and hating Cole. He’s the stereotypical, entitled Hollywood heart throb and he seems hell bent on pushing every single one of Summer’s buttons. Their obvious disdain for each other is entertaining as hell, and the sexual tension and chemistry seeps off the page.“Jesus, Summer, I want to taste you so badly.”Alessandra Torre has given us a story unlike any of her others. Hollywood Dirt is a funny, quirky, sensuous story that will light you up in all the best ways. The small town, the intriguing and loveable characters, the humor and sizzling sexiness is more than enough to keep you flipping pages at a furious rate until you’ve reached the very end. The writing is astonishing and the story is unique, it’s totally engaging. I loved this book so much, it captivated me. I really hope that at some point this book has a sequel or a spin off; I’d love to get more from these characters that I fell in love with. Until then, I guess I’ll just continue to imagine what a fine rooster Cocky has grown to be. HAHAHAHAHAHA...“There was something about her, something that had tugged on him since the moment they had met. A tug that had become an addiction. An addiction that he needed to cure.”

Cute Story
Cole Masten is Hollywood's hottest actor and he and his wife, actress Nadia Smith, are the Golden Couple - until they aren't. After five years of marriage, Cole finds his wife cheating on him with the director of her current movie project. Being served with divorce papers shortly after let him loose control. Instead of concentrating on his biggest project, he is out partying hard and screwing countless girls to forget about Nadia and her betrayal which hurt him deeply. After his attorney sets him straight, he is sent to the little town Quincy, Georgia to get his new movie project on the way. He is told to keep his head low and his dick in his pants until the divorce is final to prevent Nadia from taking all the money, especially big movie deal: the first movie he plans to finance, "The Fortune Bottle".Summer Jenkins lives in Quincy almost all her life and since the break-up from her fiance three years ago she is an outcast in the little town. She has no friends and lives a silent life with her mother as the caretaker of a big house. When Cole and Summer meet it is hate on first sight. He acts the snobby actor he is and the southern girl is all but not impressed by him. But karma is a bitch and soon Summer finds herself in the middle of the movie and there is something to be said about "opposites attract"..------------------------------------------------------------It was my first book from Alessandra Torre and her writing was excellent. I was hooked from the start and it was like some screwball comedy to watch. Feisty Summer and arrogant Cole were like water and oil - but somehow they fit together.I was really curious to find out what happened three years ago at the rehearsal dinner but it was revealed late in the book. Personally, I did not think it was so bad what she did. I thought she shot Bobby Jo or something like that. She and Scott and all their friends got what they deserved for treating Summer like she was dirt. The chicken/rooster thing was hilarious! I never found rooster cute but here it was perfect. Same goes for the paper bag visit to Walmart which had me laughing so hard. I loved the story very much and it will not be my last book from Alessandra Torre.
