Arrived well packaged -and came with the screwdriver to remove the old one. This was VERY easy, 2 screws pull out battery, pop in new one and install new battery. This worked perfectly for my TT8 Dyson V8 Total Clean. Finally able to clean the whole house again rather that 3 minutes the original battery had. Supposedly longer battery life? All I can say is it last at least as long - It fits in the charging dock fine. No ideal on longevity, but i left this a couple of month before reviewing and am a happy bunny at half the cost of an original.

This battery is better the original dyson battery, managing to do more jobs with it on a single charge on full power.Which would go quickly on the dyson battery, even when it was new. Really worth the investment to keep my dyson working and i will purchase this again (hopefully not any time soon 🙂).Slight flaw is the top filter, it does not fit flush but this is minnor as i have the original part and did not buy this product for this. The back filter fits perfectly.

Cheaper than Dyson original battery.

Arrived v quickly, very easy to fit, works perfectly- much cheaper than ‘official’ replacement battery and to my surprise, included new filters, brush etc. Truly delighted with this purchase BUT - after 3 months the battery stopped working! Dead as a door nail. Amazon simply say that it is more than 30 days since delivery so I cannot return it. I can understand that but I cannot contact the Chinese supplier and feel that although the battery was excellent for 3 months I had expected it to last considerably longer than 3 months. It did not just gradually become less effective over time - it simply STOPPED charging or working. In the hope that this was bad luck I have ordered another one but I will be very disappointed if the life of one of these batteries is only 3 months.

At first I was dubious to buy a non-original battery, however this so far has been better than the original. It lasts slightly longer than the original battery did when new, and is still going strong a long time after purchasing it. It stays on charge when not in use and have had no problems. The 'free' filters were a bonus although the final filter doesn't quite attach as securly as the original.

The battery is fine for the first couple of months ( maybe thats why they get good reviews), but after 4 or 5 months the battery only lasts about 5mins after a full charge, and that's on the low power setting. On the boost setting its more like 3 mins.They say there's a 12 month warranty but its impossible to get a refund. There's no link on the order to complain or get a refund. The only option is to leave a bad review.The old saying 'buy cheap and you buy twice' definately applies to this product

Based on a recent purchase of this particular battery from first power and measuring it with a multimeter I can confirm that the battery when charged only to one LED had a voltage of 21.1 V.The package came with a filter a Philips screwdriver and the secondary tube filter that inserts into the V8 from the top. All of these filters fit the V8 very well and are super easy to exchange for the original Dyson ones. As you can expect the Philips screwdriver is a very cheap version but yes, you can easily use it to unscrew the three screws in the bottom of the battery and the back of the handle on the V8 and replace the original Dyson battery. The entire procedure is easy enough for someone with absolutely rudimentary knowledge of dismantling anything. In other words, very easy to do. Once the battery was inserted into the Dyson, once I pressed the trigger the Dyson sprang into action and functioned as new. The battery also has the original thickness, to perfectly fit into the Wall charger and has flawlessly started charging from the original Dyson charger incorporated into the wall bracket. Based on my findings, I can fully recommend this battery as a viable replacement for the much more expensive original Dyson battery. I only wish that other Chinese manufacturers would take note here, and create Products that actually functions correctly, has the correct measurements, and have the quality we are all looking for.Easy replacement, I fully recommend this product.

I can’t comment on its longevity yet, but so far so good. After about 2 years, the original battery on my Dyson V8 Absolute was fading quicker and quicker so very impractical, so I bought this new one with the hope of prolonging the vacuum’s life. This new battery is higher powered than the original battery so I hoped it would give me a longer run time than the original one did. It was easy to replace and I took the old one to Curry’s for proper recycling. To start with, it didn’t seem to last much longer, but I think it’s now lasting much longer, so overall I’m very pleased.
