Dark and Dirty, oh my! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I just devoured Savage Vow, the first book in the series, and I'm still reeling from the experience! This dark and dirty tale of Gregor, the ruthless head of the Russian mafia, and Samara, the innocent pawn in his game, is a wild ride. The arranged marriage, the danger, the passion - it all comes together in a story that's impossible to put down. Gregor's savagery is matched only by his obsession with Samara, and their chemistry is palpable.I loved how Zoe Blake expertly wove together the complex characters, morally ambiguous themes, and heart-pumping action. This book is not for the faint of heart, but if you're looking for a truly addictive read, look no further. Bring on the next installment! 🤓

Hot and Heavy
Arranged marriage, debt owed, best friend's brother and feisty female, all in one story. There are many twists and turns before getting to the HEA. There is so much to like about this book. First, the storyline and plot are great. She's on the run from her fiance, and he becomes obsessed with bringing her home. While others try to get in his way, he is laser focused on her. Their chemistry is too level and she doesn't do herself any favors as she word vomits all of he thoughts in real time. The spice and his dominance is what makes this a memorable story. Enjoy.

H-Gregor Ivanovh-SamaraHer dad made an arrangement with Samara’s dad $15 million dollars for Samara’s hand in marriage. She hated the idea so she decided to run away with one of her best friend. The story is not bad but I just wished that Gregor just tell her what actually is going on on the reason why they should married. But he never did, he kept keeping her in the dark & then punish her for not going along with his idea of “protecting” her. I will not be reading the rest of this trilogy

Oh the chase, the thrills, the tension made me finish this in a day!
I’m ashamed to say this is my first book by Zoe Blake, but it won’t be my last. I am so invested In the characters that appear in this book that I need to read the other two in the series (Vicious Oath and Betrayed Honor) and even the book that Dimitri and Emma appear in (Sweet Cruelty).Samara has had a crush on Gregor for years. But not anymore, well at least she’s going to try to move on from him. She is now 18 and is determined be with her boyfriend, considering that she is a v. The night of one of her closest friend’s birthday (Nadia), who happens to be the sister of Gregor, she goes into a room with her boyfriend. But then he starts being too aggressive with her and she’s regretting it. In steps Gregor. Samara is afraid of him because he has grown up and he’s a lot bigger than he was years before, when she was 13 (the last time that she saw him). Gregor takes out a gun and decides to play Russian roulette with her boyfriend’s life, especially because he caught him trying to take advantage of Samara. He ends up forgiving his life after toying with him, but not before beating him up.Gregor informs Samara that they will be getting married in two weeks. She doesn’t want to and leaves from the scene, seeking refuge in the treehouse that she and her best friends normally go to. She and Yelena decide to run away and stay away from not only Gregor and his family, but from the people trying to get at her for the money she Has earned and not in the most honorable way. Damien, Gregor and Nadia’s other brother, is going after Yelena as well. The next three years they managed to avoid being caught. In the three years that they’ve escape, they have assumed many identities. However, they became complacent and comfortable in the one that they’ve currently in, which is how Gregor was able to get her. When he finds her, phew, it was so sexu@lly tense, so visceral that even MY tummy was tense. Dear lord these two... these two are so drawn to each other that it’s almost as if they’re breathing in tandem with their bodies. It’s so gritty and raw and hot that my blush was blushing. They’re so in tune with each other. Oh and because Samara is an artist and Gregor is such a connoisseur of different genres of art that it was incredibly sexy- how knowledgeable he was of her craft and her tastes and her wants and visions that my kindle almost combusted. Dear God, it was scrumptious in the most delicious way. He KNOWS her and she’s incredibly surprised. And I did NOT mind when she didn’t listen or tried running away 😉because there are consequences to her actions 🥵. He’s willing to do anything to protect her 🔥which I loooved! I loved that she was feisty yet knew when she was going to lose a battle. I throughly enjoyed it!Highly recommended!

Savage Vow
Savage Vos is the first installment in Zoe Blake’s Ivanov Crime family series. In it, readers meet members and close friends of two Russian families—Federovs and Ivanovs. Boris Federov comes from an established high society family. He bankrupts the family finances. Needing money he arranges a marriage between Gregor Ivanov and his daughter, Samara. is one of Nadia Ivanov, Gregor’s younger sister. Nadia, Samar a, and Yelena, another good friend, are very close. Yelena helps Samara run away before nuptials are finalized. They are on the lam for three years. Meanwhile Gregor, with help from his brother, Damian, track her. Back in the Federov household, Boris, sells his daughter to another crime lord, Egor Novikoff. Egor is 72 and a perverted human trafficker. Will Gregor find Samara? Will Samara and Gregor get together? What will happen to Boris? You must read this book to discover what unfolds.Ms. Fox does a remarkable job as she developed this character-driven plot. It is fascinating to what how the lead characters grow and change from when readers first meet them. There is a chemistry between the two lead characters. Through her expert use of dialog, POV, and descriptive language, Ms. Fox uses intrigue to move her plot along. Well done, Ms. Fox.

Love this series!
"Savage Vow" by Zoe Blake plunges readers into a darkly captivating romance that seamlessly blends intense emotion with the suspenseful undercurrents typical of the genre. The novel follows Isabella, a young woman ensnared in the dangerous allure of Ivan, a man whose formidable presence masks a turbulent past and a fervent desire to protect what he claims as his own.Zoe Blake's writing is both eloquent and efficient, creating vivid scenes and complex characters with an economy of words that keeps the pages turning. The story is tightly plotted, with each chapter drawing the reader deeper into the tempestuous relationship at its core. The author deftly navigates the thin line between passion and peril, crafting a narrative that is as thought-provoking as it is thrilling. The character development is a standout element of the book. Isabella, initially presented as a damsel, gradually reveals a core of strength and resilience that complements Ivan's more overtly dominant personality. This dynamic allows for a nuanced exploration of power, consent, and mutual dependency, themes that are handled with sensitivity and insight by Blake. While "Savage Vow" may venture into dark territories—a characteristic feature of its genre—it does so with a careful balance of intensity and integrity, making it a compelling read for fans of dark romance. Blake’s skill in weaving together the strands of suspense, passion, and psychological depth ensures that the narrative is both enthralling and respectful, resonating with readers long after the last page is turned.

Love it as dark as it is
After reading Sweet Cruelty with Dimitri & Emma last year I had quite high expectations for the new book from Zoe Blake. And let me tell you, she didn't disappoint at all! Tick all the right boxes and deliver exceptional reads, that captured me from the first pages.Savage Vow is the 1st book in An Ivanov Crime Family Series. Gregor is possessive, controlling & brutal alpha, who always gets what he wants. Even if that means he has to wait three years to finally get his runaway bride… Samara is a young, ambitious and aspiring artist, who doesn't want to accept the fact that her parents simply sold her as a pawn to pay off their debts, and she decides to run away… That made her stronger, feister, knowing what she really wants, not to bend easily. When they meet again the whole new chapter starts for them...I love the fact that the Sweet Cruelty characters appear in the book, I was missing Dimitri, Emma & Vaska….Savage Vow is very dark & twisted, with triggers incl. Violence, BDSM & dub con. So if you like that plus arranged marriages, dominant Russian anti - heroes & strong heroines this is a book for you.Cant wait to read second book in the series next month.
