I purchased these to add a little flair under our kitchen cabinets. I love that they use a motion sensor, which makes them feel more premium than a constant light.On installation:Others have mentioned how it is important to space them properly. I used sticky tack to temporarily place them to make sure that the light from one would not interfere with the light from another. Turns out I had them spaced far enough on the first try, but it’s worth doing a test run before making them permanent.I love that they use magnets to stick to the cabinet. The set comes with metal pieces that use normal sticky adhesive to stick to the cabinet. The lights then stick to the 1” square metal piece from a magnet inside the light. I think it’s brilliant, and you may not need the adhesive pieces at all if you plan to place them on a metallic surface. Regardless, they’re insanely easy to install, especially compared to a real wired light.On charging:We have a clear preference for walking around our island, as evidenced by the fact one light will always go out faster than the others. Battery life spans about 2-4 weeks depending on location, even in a pretty high traffic kitchen (sometimes the dogs tails wag just right and set them off). The set included two more lights than I really needed, so I always have a charged light to swap in. They use a micro USB to charge, but hold a charge well and seem to last a long time considering I keep them near the brightest setting.Setting them up:These lights have many different modes. I keep mine on “day mode,” which is the sun symbol on the remote control. This somewhat unintuitive, but “day mode” means they won’t turn on when it senses the room is already well lit, which saves battery life and means they only turn on when they’d actually make a visible difference. We have ample natural light during the day so there isn’t a need for them to turn on then.All in all:For what you pay, I seriously think this is one of the highest value add things you can put in your home. We entertain a lot and friends comment on how much they love them. Most are shocked we didn’t have to rewire the kitchen or spend a fortune for how much light they put out.Would I buy them again? Absolutely. I didn’t do a lot of comparison shopping but at this price point it’s hard to see how you can beat them.Hope this review was helpful!

I have a bookcase that is actually a door to a storage closet (think Scooby Do room) and wanted to lighting for it, but I didn’t have electrical. This set of lights are the answer! They are super easy to install and last quite a while without having to charge them. I don’t use the motion detection option because I want them to stay on in the evening. The option of different levels of brightness works beautifully - they are at 50% in the picture. They stay perfectly event with opening and closing of the door. I ended up buying 2 sets so I can always have a set charged and ready to go.

I put these in the house as night lights;. In a closet and hallways. I was pleasantly surprised how long they will operate on a charge. The white light is nice and bright. The remote works but it doesn't have much use to me, I set them on the motion sensor setting and they work well. The only issue is that the metal strip that mounts on your surface and holds the light by magnet is just very small and the magnet somewhat weak. the light stays put for the most part but easily falls if touched or bumped. Overall, a good buy

OMG, these lights are the best. I purchased the 5 pack with the Charging Station. I placed the lights at the bottom of my kitchen cabinets and have also placed them in the staircase.All together, I have purchased 4 of the 5 pack with the charging station, and purchased the 3 pack for my mom so she can have light in her bedroom.The magnet is very strong, just a note that not the entire back of the light stick has magnets. So when placing the magnet, be sure to center it. Otherwise, the light will fall off.

I like the lights they worked great. They were easy to install and the motion sensor works well and the light is bright. The remote and programming is a bit complicated. I couldn’t even seem to figure it it right. After a year and a half one just stopped working all together. I charged it and the blue sensor lights up like it’s charged but it’s not. Maybe it’s the battery?I would buy them again but need to figure out the setup with the remote. Probably my error.

The lights offer different ways to go on/off, solid materials, magnetic and stick on magnetic squares for non metal areas to hang them. Hold a charge for a good while.

These are very small rechargeable LED lights that are PERFECT for the right situation. They may not be big enough nor powerful enough for a large space such as a closet or room unless you just want a bit of light (unless you use a lot of them).In my case, I needed a solution for a built in "armoire" that was dark and hard to navigate even during the day. The cabinet has four doors, two up and two down, with 4 shelves in each top unit and 2 in each bottom unit for a total of 12 shelves that I needed to light requiring 12 lights so the cost per light was important and this set of 5 for $28.49 or $5.70 per light was ideal.I ordered one set of 5 lights to try and was very pleased wit the results. I ordered two more sets to complete the job (12 installed, 3 spares). The lights all come on perfectly when each door is opened as ambient light in the room or light from other shelves does not effect the motion-only detection setting. (Caution: A self stick metal rectangle is used to hold the light in place. Be careful when placing the self stick material as it is nearly impossible to move once placed.)I was a bit concerned at first as the lights seemed to lose their charge within a few days but it turned out that was most likely a result of the onboard rechargeable batteries only having a modest charge when they arrived. After charging them fully they all have now lasted more than a month without requiring additional charging.The lights had to be able to be set to activate with motion and not be dependent on it being dark as I wanted the lights to come on every time I opened the door(s) regardless of day or night. These worked perfectly for that purpose.
