YES this glove really does work against engine burns. The grip on the finger tips really does let you grip items without having items slip out of your grip. You get one in a package with this order, So if you want both hands and arms covered you buy two of this item. Started working on truck engine before using glove and got a hot hand, Then said to myself " whoa , Let me go get my newly bought anti burn glove and see if it really works". and YES IT DOES. When the work was done, I took off the glove and placed hand near engine, NOT ON IT, just near it and I could feel the engine still hot, but not with the glove on. I know this glove will be much more appreciated when I have to get near the exhaust pipes - IE the exhaust manifold, catalyst , bank 1 or 2 O2 sensor, muffler , tail pipe. YES I WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE LOOKING TO PROTECT THEMSELVES FROM A HOT ENGINE BURN

These things are great. Im a cook and use deep conveyor ovens, these save my knuckles&forearms ! Plus they are washable. Id give them 5stars but the stitching in between the fingers is effective but not so comfy. Otherwise, these things rock!

I ordered this to wear when I am weedeating. My forearm was resting against the weedeater when I was using it and it gets very hot! This protects my arm much better than just wearing long sleeves. Would definitely recommend this product.

works pretty good as far as reaching into hot engine bays. not for prolonged exposure at high temps, but by the time you notice it's hot, you can adjust before getting singed. good enough. also good for adding a buffer between flesh and jagged things while reaching into tight spots.

I tried using these to take a baking pan out of the oven at 400 degrees. I could definitely feel something coming through so I had to switch over to oven mitts.

Wanted this for use with Stihl string trimmer which kept burning inner arm depending on angle of use. This solves the problem.

As advertised. last a good long time just take the time to clean them occasionally for better long term use.
