I’ve found out in the past that it’s just not worth skimping on low budget cassettes. It’s tempting due to the low price, but they never shift very well and they’re a boat a anchor. This XT cassette is light and provides very smooth shifts. Well worth the extra price.

I use this cassette in a 1 X 9 set-up. I have matched it with a 36t Race Face narrow-wide chainring and a 10-sp Shimano XTR chain. (In case you're wondering, yes, the 10-sp chain works with 9-sp drivetrains.) It shifts flawlessly, is very quiet and is uncommonly smooth. In my experience, the high-end SRAM cassettes are a little lighter but less durable than the Shimanos.This XT cassette is built tough. I'm hard on my bike and have serious leg power. I'll take the strength over a couple less grams of weight any day of the week. It's a great cassette. Don't think twice... Buy it.

It was as ok, it did not come in a retail package and did not have support post that comes with Shimano cassette cogs. it was just dropped into a USPS mailer. It did arrive undamaged and appeared to be new.

I getting this parts for spares as I using 9 speed cut groupset. It’s is getting harder to get from local market
