I bought these boots for working in my yard as well as one of my hobbies (which is outdoors in all type of weather and terrain - wet, dry, hills, flat, high weeds and grass, etc.). I originally looked at the original muck boot brand - but was turned off by the price, so I went looking for lower priced alternatives and landed on this boot.I LOVE THEM.They have suddenly become my favorite shoes.Not only are they soft and comfortable - they are very warm due to the neoprene.I wore these all day in a cold rain and my feet stayed dry and comfortable.I have also worn these for days when I walked 6-7 miles on a hilly landscape and my feet managed pretty well.I like the cuff that you can bring up or down and cinch if you need to - though I primarily keep them rolled down unless the day is particularly sloppy.The color is good - and pretty true to the picture. The bottom being a dark purple (nearly looking black in a dim light) and the top a nice vibrant deep purple.These boots run big and are very wide. I normally wear an 8 and have very slender feet - so I bought an 8 thinking that nice fluffy socks would resolve the space.They are still big and a bit "sloppy" feeling. I think a 7.5 would be a very good compromise on the size/roominess.However, if you have wide feet - you may appreciate your "normal" size.I did not return my size 8's despite the roominess.I wear these boots 3-5 days a week and I love them! Highly recommended.

Retired 64 year old male gardener and yard worker in Ohio here. Good value for the money. Fits accurately. I ordered an 11 but wear a 10 1/2 narrow shoe. They were a touch wide as I expected for my narrow foot, which I have dealt with my entire life. I added insoles, of which I have many for this reason, and these now fit perfect. I am a happy camper. The sole does not accumulate a ton of mud or grass clippings compared to lugged boot soles. Very easily cleaned. Thank you Hisea.

While these run a little large, with inserts (definitely recommend to improve comfort) and thick socks, they fit wonderfully! I wear a women’s size 8.5 sneaker and typically a 9 in boots. I think because these boots are unisex, that’s why they are larger in the toe for me. But if I went to a size 8, I know they wouldn’t be wide enough. They fit great, just a little too much room in the toe for me but like I said with inserts and socks, that’s solved! The upper part of the boot folds down nicely and the drawstring tightens well. They come ~6 inches up my calf/above my ankle. I have rather thick calves and where these land on me my calf circumference is ~14 inches. I’m able to stick my fingers all around the top so there is a little wiggle room. I was worried they wouldn’t fit but they’re perfect. Not too snug but not gaping either. I didn’t notice a strong smell right out of the box or anything. Mine had tags and are definitely brand new. So excited about these after my first day of wearing them. They have good air flow but are totally waterproof at the same time. Unusual to find a boot that has both qualities for this price point. They did great for work around the farm and in the barn. Very satisfied and would recommend them to anyone looking!

I had ordered another pair of waterproof boots and returned them cause I couldn't get my foot in them even though they said they were size 13 ( I wear a size 11) sooo I was hesitant to try again but got these today on time and got my foot in with no problem. They are a little big size 13, but that is what I wanted and they give me plenty of room for my toes, and they stay on just fine. Wore them for about an hour and I believe when the snow comes I can even wear wool socks and feet should be toasty. Not a lot of arch support, but I wanted that so I can put in liners and they will still fit. As to size they seem to run true to size, but remember you have to get your foot in. I always get a size bigger so as to provide air and not cramp my toes.

After reading different reviews on how these boots fit other customers and a lot said to buy one size bigger! DONT! If you wear whatever shoe size (I wear a 9 W) buy your size! I bought a 10 after others reviews and had to send them back as they were way to big. I repurchased a 9 and they fit perfectly! Even with a heavier sock my foot goes in and out easily! If you cram your foot into a shoe or you have a Clydesdale foot then maybe you might need something bigger, but buy your normal size!

Pretty cheaply made. Not made for real farm work but good for a quick putting the stray calf back in the pasture or taking the garbage out. Pretty thin souls so certainly not for real work.

I do tons of yardwork and have always ended up with filthy socks with dirt and grass all over them at the end of the day. These ankle boots are ideal for yardwork - they keep your feet and socks clean, are light weight, waterproof and comfortable. When you run your weed whacker, just pull up the nylon topper and cinch the top - no more grass on your socks or in your shoes!. Just hose 'em off and roll down the nylon topper. I wish I would have run across these years ago - I could have saved a ton of brushing off yard clippings and laundering filthy socks. The shoe sizes are true - ORDER THE SHOE SIZE YOU WEAR - no need to order a size smaller or larger.

I wear a size 7 and originally ordered Size 8 because I usually size up in a boot but it was too large so I returned for size 7 and fits perfectly. True to size and very comfortable and also nice that it can be rolled down on top.

Worn less than 2 weeks and the seems are peeling apart I can return but cost $37 , best not to buy

I have the tall HISEA rain boots in size 7 in mens and they fit well. I wear a size 9 in women's. Looking at the size chart for these, I was a little confused because it said size 8 in mens, 9 in women's. I didn't know which size was correct because I have gotten men's shoes and boots many times and a 7 was always the proper conversion for a ladies 9. I didn't know if the boots would show up as a men's 8 or a women's 9.They came as a men's 8 and sure enough, the boots were too big for me.I am able to wear them with thicker socks, but I wouldn't be able to wear them in the warmer months without because they'd just be too uncomfortably loose and would likely cause blisters.The boots themselves are great. They are a nice quality and they look good. They feel very durable.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, but if you are a woman, please look up the conversion of your shoe size on google first and then order in the men's size accordingly rather than go by the women's size they have listed.

These boots are perfect for Husband's fishing and work at camp.The soles are well grooved, so there is no slipping, his feet stay warm, and the neoprene allows for moisture to go on it, but it dries pretty quickly.The ties at the top ensure water and ick don't get inside the boot itself.Great quality, better than expected.
