I like that it doesn't generate so much vibration and noise, maybe because it is more stable with 4 suctions cups in the corner and the chasis isn't in direct contact with anything. We hope this helps! **Q: Can this be used in a 20 or 40 gallon turtle tank?** A: The Bioplus 100 is recommended for up to 30 gallon tanks by the manufacturer. Turtles being dirtier than fish i would want to make sure i had plenty of filtration so i would not use the Bioplus 100 on a 40 gallon tank but would move to the Bioplus 200 for that size tank.
