Global Views Climbing Man Wall Sculpture (One Count)

While I decided to return this, I did think it was pretty cool.

My husband and I have been wanting these for awhile and decided to order 5 of them (his very handy friend was coming to town so we figured this is the best time, he can help us mount them!). We read a lot of the reviews trying to strategize and plot our schematic of what would work.We agree with a lot of the other reviewers that they are solid pieces and look really artsy and pricey. They came individually boxed and arrived via Fed Ex. Each shipment was a bit different, some as others have said came with the rope slightly bent others not. We managed to straighten out the ropes and actually don't mind the very slight kinks still in 2 of them, it kind of adds to the whole conversation piece. What we didn't realize upon receiving them is that they face different directions - to the left or right - we didn't see a place to select that option. Turns out 4 of our "guys" are facing to the right and one to the left and it all worked out - again just adds to the artistic look. We mounted them above our fireplace and TV on a tall wall and 5 was the perfect amount so that it wouldn't look skimpy. Everyday we look at them and smile and admire them from the side angle (which is way cool) and from a distance and we just love how different they are. At first you might think it's a little pricey (especially buying 5) butbeauty is in the eye of the beholder and we often go to art shows all over the country and rarely both agree at once....ah ha...this is it! We did with these guys. They are solid and interesting looking, different and well made. Like others have mentioned, we can definitely see them being perfect in lots of different locations -offices, gyms, man caves, boys room....etc. My husband and I high fives each other on this one.

First the good: This is a fabulous piece. It is beautifully made, & is very impressive, when mounted.I have had to return several, because the mounting peg was missing. It is in a pink, neon plastic bag, & should be the first thing you see, when the box is opened. Amazon was not willing to get replacement pegs for me, so I had to send 2, back. If you aren’t going to mount them for for a while, at least open the box, & be sure the mounting hardware is in your box.The piece is beautifully shipped & impeccably packed. They are not complicated to mount. A lot of people complain about them being priced separately, but I prefer it that way, so that I can have flexibility in how many I use. It is also a plus, they you can add additional ones, later, if you wish.I love this product, & would give it 5 stars, if the missing hardware had not been such an ordeal.

excellent quality my hubs LOVES them. he considers then to be pieces of art...they are honestly bigger then i had expected and the rope in a heavy almost unbendable metal rope very substantial maybe 3-4 feet hanging on the was. we hung it where we cud have to view perspectives and looks so cool especial from the side profile like a person really climbing the wall! ladies these will be a hit for your burley type guy. they cam in rather large long boxes well packed tightly in styrafoam blocks could not be happier!

These are good, but for the price I would have expected better packaging and allignment. I ordered 5 and the wire rope on at least 3 was bent and after over an hour of working the wire ropes, they look passable but will require more effort when I have more patience. Also, the men needed to be twisted hard to get their feet to lay flush on the walls. I don't mind paying a premium for a high quality product, but I do not feel the premium price matched the product in this case.

I love these hanging sculpture. Not to crazy about the current version, where the veins are popping a lot more. The older version of these Climbing Man was more solid, not to much detail, but just enough. Overall I am still happy to own them.

A great piece of artwork for less than $100. I installed mine on a concrete column in my condo and it looks great. Note: my concrete column is wrapped in sheet rock so I did not use the included screw & knob. I just used a picture hanger - the kind that is a straight pin that goes in at an angle and has a small disc for support and holds up to 20lbs.

When shopping for this item for a birthday gift for my boyfriend that is in rescue Fire Dept and I didn’t have slot to spend I loved when I saw this but I just received it it was just 1 man hanging when In the photo on Amazon it showed 5 men !! Which I think was very misleading . Now I have to purchase 3 more to fit perfect on his office wall !!!
