I have allergies and have been coughing for 15 yrs. Only Ricola cough drops help when having a coughing spell. Here’s the rub. I have pre diabetes, but can’t take artificial sweeteners. The U.S. FDA will not allow Ricola Cough Drops sweetened with Stevia to be sold in the U.S. This is due to the lobbying in DC for Monsanto to have the monopoly on artificial sweetened cough drops. So the only way to get Ricola without sugar or a chemical sweetener is to purchase them here and pay a higher price.I love the packaging. They are not individually wrapped. And that’s a good thing ecologically. The shape is not a tiny cube shape, instead it is an oval and they come in a small box with a genius closing lid. This helps me when a coughing spell comes on, as I have only seconds before I am gasping for air.

Not as great a taste as the original sugar variety, but these are good and do not cause cavities.
