Oversized.
4 inch is actually the inside diameter, it's impossible to fit a market duct that is 4 inches around this, the angled rim makes it even worse, I was desperate and I cut off the the rim, and still wasn't able to join 2 ducts (4 inch) with this!Otherwise it's good, quality, sturdy and love the fact that clamps are included.
