I love these shoes! They look great, are comfortable and wear well. Great traction. Being soft canvas material, they do fit nice and snug. If you don't like the feeling of snug shoes, go up a half size. With wear, they become more form fitted to your feet. I enjoy practicing in them!

I bought pink ballet shoes for my daughter at Target, but I was very unhappy with the way they fit...they were very wide causing them to slip and they just did not fit her well at all. I found these ballet shoes, and figured for the price it was worth a shot (they were half the price of the Target shoes). I honestly did not have high hopes for them as they were so inexpensive, but I am so happy I got them!I actually prefer the canvas material these are made with...the canvas material plus the split sole seems to make them much more flexible. The shoe is nice and snug on her foot, no slipping, and I like the criss-crossed straps much better than single strap on the other pair I bought. She currently wears around a size 9 in shoes, so I ordered up at 10.5, and they fit her perfectly. I will definitely be buying these again once she grows out of them.

bought these for Balboa. They work well for small, shuffling steps. There is nothing solid in the arch that stabilizes the connection from toe to heel, though, and they have very little traction, so I would NOT recommend these for high impact dances like lindy. Probably good for Bal, tango, blues, maybe salsa, and any solo dance where you're fully controlling your own balance/momentum.Toe box gets a little tight if you wear these for more than a couple hours but the fabric is soft and will probably stretch. I did 4+ hours of dance class the first day I wore these and got ZERO blisters.

While I couldn’t wear the size I ordered, I still recommend this shoe. I read past reviews and ordered my regular size based upon those reviews. The shoe was too long and too wide for my bony feet. I am also a longtime dancer and prefer my shoes to fit snugly. I suggest ordering a half size to a full size smaller than your street shoe size if you dance seriously. The quality of the shoe seems good but I can’t speak to its longevity. This seller’s customer service is exceptionally good. Well worth a try.

Walking…they are better than walking shoes!!!! Dancing shoes!!! Beautiful, comfortable, delicate and soft!!! In love with these shoes!!!! I will be ordering more of them……. OMG. I want many of these!!!! I no longer dance, I used too, then danced as exercise, but they are sooooo comfortable and light and pretty!!! Thank you!!!

It was pretty but no support and I ordered a 9 but it was still too small. I am usually an 8.5 to 9. It hurt my toes. At least they accepted my return. Good service.

Good, comfortable practice shoes for when I don't want to wear higher heels. Not terribly sexy, but that's not what they're for! I like the split sole and the cloth is comfortable.

The arch isn’t very supportive. Pretty thin. Does it’s job and good for the price

A great little shoe at a great price. Size is tricky. I wear 6.5 and ordered size 7. They were tight, but not uncomfortable. However, I had bad blisters after 12 hours of contra dancing and a side seams on one of the shoes was coming undone. So I ordered a new pair in size 8, thinking I’d have room for a decent insole and good socks. They were far too long. So I submitted a returns request. The Chinese vendor contacted me almost immediately and quickly replaced the size 8 with size 7.5, which are perfect. I have room for a pink Supersole insole (after removing the perfunctory insole that comes with the shoe) and thin wool socks. Communication and service were fantastic. A side note regarding product materials. Upon opening the packaging, the smell of glue is head-spinning. Leaving the shoes outdoors for 24 hours is sufficient to allow the odor to dissipate. In one of my emails to the vendor, I mentioned that I hoped the people making the shoes worked in a facility with sufficient ventilation, but the vendor never addressed this concern.

I ordered a half size larger after reading reviews, but should have ordered a full size larger. If you want some (needed) padding, order 1 1/2 sizes larger. There is no support, they are flimsy, but I knew that before ordering, I'd seen them in person. I believe I will be happy with them, once I stretch them. Good for practice.

The toes and heel are solid but the middle has no structure.
