This does a great job of keeping my cords together and tangle free.

These are wonderful for storing cables. I imagine they will work great for synth patches. You don't want to use zip ties that get incredible tight. This can tear the stranded wire inside expensive patch cords. For the price range these are almost a steal. I certainly will be buying more. I am still building my modular synth instrument, but cable management becomes crazy. Using kitchen bag twist ties got old really quick. I will be using these a lot on my lab bench for sure..I think the only thing I don't like about these is they look like they will fray over time. I am not sure you can avoid that if your constantly changing your cables around. Even if you spend more on a reliable musicians brand. In my case I will be using these for prototyping as well. At this price point I can't complain and to be honest I think a dot of super glue here a little there when freying occurs will keep them from coming apart any time soon. Otherwise buy zip ties and make it permanent.

Why I went without having these in my life for so long, I will never know, but I won't make that mistake again. All chords now are neat and easily accessible. No more having to dig through random piles of cables that got lost in various boxes and furniture. Now they all fit neatly in a cheap toolbox I bought for the purpose of keeping cables in. If I keep getting more and more responsible people are going to start expecting things from me. I will have to be careful from mow on, but it was still worth it.

This was a useful purchase. The fact that there are fifty of them is just better. They are nothing fancy but just useful. I keep them in a drawer and have been slowly finding new uses. The majority of them are used for electronics. I wish that they had a better packaging solution however. They come packed in a little cardboard box. It is hard to pull out just one, and harder to put all the strays back in the little box. I might suggest a sturdier plastic container that held the straps stacked vertically.

I have two left and fully intend on buying another box. This purchase made organizing cables, cords, chargers etc a breeze. One purchase I do recommend for everyone. Great quality, cute colors, a purchase worth making again and again.

I use a lot of cables and needed a better way to organize them.I don't know why I ever hesitated to buy these.When they wrap up, there's no slack, and they fit everything from little AUX cables to 30 foot XLR cables. I use them to bundle up power cords, organize my gig bag, keep my studio tidy, and because they're purple I can easily identify them as mine when my supplies get mixed up with other gear around a busy stage.I've purchased these twice and I will probably buy them again, not because the older ones are wearing out, but because they're the first thing I reach for any time I need to secure a cable.I will update this review if anything changes.

50 pack hot pink - These straps are thin and the hook and loop closure (aka 'Velcro') is the smaller kind so the interlocking grip is not the strongest. That isn't necessarily bad since you don't want the biggest / heaviest hook and loop for every job. I bought them for organizing cords and they seem to hold my cords coiled together just fine. I also used one to coil up a belt on a recent trip and it survived 3 airports (twice) and about 4,000 miles of air travel / hauling my suitcase around and it stayed connected. Bright color easy to spot in my gear. The 'hook' part can attach to the entire back of the strap so if a job is small you can just wrap the tie until it fits. For casual jobs (what I purchased it for) I am quite satisfied. I own some beefier ties but they also cost more money.
