Cable works well with uncoupling membrane
Installing heating cable in the uncoupling membrane was so easy, the wire diameter was about the same as most membranes suggest so the fit was great. I've installed a few heaters using the strapping method but I definitely prefer the membrane, it's a slightly more expensive option but so much easier to get the coverage you want. We had some last minute changes but fortunately it was easy enough to remove the cable and relay in a slightly different configuration. The cable was easy to work with and we really enjoying the thermostat with it's wifi capabilities, great system.

It is supposed to be a kit. It comes with no fasteners
