Very comprehensive guide to what hoodoo is and isn't a reference every root worker should have in the library. Great book!

Filled with lots of info and good spells

The book is poorly written. The editing was lackluster leaving behind an abundance of grammatical errors. Portions seem to be plagiarized as I read the exact same passages in other books. A section of the first book is confusing as the narrative remains in first person but you go from a feminine viewpoint to a decidedly masculine viewpoint with a the story of a man’s initiation into the Mysteries. I could not make it through the first book of this 4 book anthology. I would not recommend this book. As a matter of fact, if I had not started reading this book after my return window had ended I would demand a refund.

This book should not have been published with this many grammar mistakes and the information is suspicious to say the least. Some of the information is very obviously from someone else....word for word. Just remember when reading, this is HER practice...not necessarily "traditional" Hoodoo.
