R2 Massage Gun - Percussion Deep Tissue Back Massager with Extension Handle

Great massage gun for various uses! Purchased for tightness and pain in my back and shoulders. I had never used a fascia gun so I was a little unsure of what to expect. I just knew my back felt like it needed someone to put hard pressure on it and the massage seat cover I was trying to use wasn't cutting it. After browsing many models, I decided on this one because of the adjustable head and extension handle. I'm glad I did. The first time I used it felt so good. The pain relief was instant. As I said, I haven't used a fascia gun before, but the vibration feels strong. I've since used it nearly every day. I've recharged it maybe 3 or 4 times. The included accessories is a great bonus. The heating head gets hot! Very useful for when I need a massage but also want heat. The carrying/storage bag is well made and has a spot for everything, plus room for additional accessories should you buy any additional heads. Though any additional heads would need to be stored in the netted section on the lid. Speaking of additional heads, the size this gun uses is approximately 18mm. I've already bought and tried out an additional head for a different body part and, oh my, it works amazingly. Charging and attaching the extension requires removing of a rubber plug at the bottom of the handle, which is a bit of an extra step, but it's not that big of a deal. Once attached, the extension makes it easy to reach all areas of the back. My only real complaint is the threading for the extension is very fine, so cross threading is a real possibility. I make sure to turn it backwards (as if you were loosening it) until I can feel the threads click into place, then gently tighten it down. A coarser thread would have been nice.

I love the soft attachments for shallower muscles. They work great on the back of the head when I have tension headaches. I own 3 of them now. One of them stopped working. I thought the battery died but it won't charge. The manufacturer refunded my money promptly. Great customer service! A definite must have!

The only time it would actually turn on was when it was plugged in like an IV drip, which really adds to the relaxation vibe when you’re tethered to a wall mid-massage. But wait, it gets better. Apply even the slightest pressure to your body, you know, like you're trying to use it for its one and only purpose, and boom — instant nap mode. It shuts off like it's had enough of your nonsense. Try again, same result. It’s like the world's most delicate Victorian fainting couch in power tool form. Honestly, I’ve had more consistent performance from a wind-up toy. This “massage gun” has one move: passive aggressive shutdown. Do yourself a favor and just karate chop your own back — it’ll be more effective and less frustrating. Would I recommend it? Only to my worst enemy. I returned it faster than it shuts off when it senses effort — which is saying something.

Several hand massages over the years, but this is the best one yet. I love everything about this. It works great. I would highly recommend this massager to anyone who has sore muscles or a bad back. This thing works. Miracles. It’s a must have.

Overall this is a nice THUMPER. Asseories are nice and ease of attachment is good. This unit even has a heat pad... The only draw back is the battery time. It seems to run for about 15 minutes. In all fairness, this is the first time with a cordless unit, so I do not have a base to compare. It is an inexpensive unit and so there is that trade off. You get what you pay for. If your looking for a cordless massager with all the accessories for a great price...this is it.

I've had several hand held massage machines, this one is as good as the best one I've had (I say 'had' because that 'best' massager was $500 and lasted less than a year but was the best massager I had prior to purchasing it). So, the only thing of concern will be the test of time - will it still be working in a year (or two)? However, so far so good, a superior massager, and with the extender wand, it can hit places on my back I wasn't able to hit with other handhelds I owned. I highly recommend it.

This gun is very effective. It packs a punch, has variable speeds & heads. The extension & angled settings allows you reach difficult spots. My need to visit my therapist has declined. This gun breaks down knots & is good for general relief too.

Working only when it’s plugged to charger..disappointed..

Best massage gun I've purchaced to date. Well made & packaged, extention makes it far more versatile than others. Only issue is the two largest heads tend to shoot out when you remove from the body when on its highest speed. Other than that minor issue this would definitely be a 5 🌟 product.

I order one last week for my wife and her muscle pain - arrived, would not hold a charge, would work when plugged in, but only for a few seconds, so returned that. Ordered another as assumed I was unlucky. Same issue. Must be a bad batch, returning this one as well.
