A little over half the bamboo tubes have been sealed over, probably by wasps, so apparently they have laid their eggs & left. I have also observed bees crawling around outside the hive. Hopefully, I will see more positive benefits by next growing season. This has been my most ambitious garden so far since I retired. I am learning & am hopeful to do better next year. So far, I have managed to stay organic & kept myself in fresh salads, herbs & greens.

I installed them with minor modifications and they are working

It is a good product. Unfortunately the only insects that have moved in so far are ants. I don’t think it’s the products fault.

I bought 4 different kinds because they all have not great reviews for varied reason. They are all solidly constructed, only one bamboo shoot fell out but was easily replaced, the tall green one is the only one that doesn't come with hardware. At this time I like the purple & octogon best, we'll see which the bees like best though. Side note, I have seen people complaining that catpenter bees don't fit, but these aren't made for that species, mason bees are a different kind of bee & they should fit fine.

Seems very well made. Looks great in my garden. Waiting for the bees to take up residence buts it is still too cold in the Minnesota tundra!

The media could not be loaded.  So far so good. I bought this to hopefully give the ladybugs a place to live and reproduce. So far it’s been next to my vegetable garden and it’s been rained on and so far is fine. I just hope it encourages the ladybugs to stay a while.
