**Q: Does bulb work in lamps with in line switch on wire?**
A: Ours are in line switch. You fit the bulb, switch the light on, it flashes as per the Tapo instructions. You then use the Tapo app to connect it to your Internet. It can then be controlled via the app, or Alexa, or similar. You must leave the in line switch set to on, and let it be turned on and and off using the above. Ours work great and took only 10 mins to get working. We have three set up in different lamps. Highly recommended.

**Q: Do the bulbs also connect with the strip lights on the app??**
A: Not certain I understand, as it's as standalone bulb. 
You can group things within the Tapo app to work with one command, but it's fiddly. Much easier within Google home where you can set voice/button commands to run groups/rooms.
(Don't know how Alexa handles it, in afraid)

**Q: Are the bulbs dimmable via Alexa or only the app?**
A: They are dimmable with Alexa, Just say the magic word “Alexa dim light” also on the Alexa app or Tapo app, they’re good bulbs actually, had them a good few months and they’ve been great.

**Q: Had to reset our alexa and now won’t connect… any ideas??**
A: Hello .Dowland the tappo app for lamp.(u might Dowlanded before )
And delete the device in the app..
Do the connection with lamp againe .

I found these bulbs easy to install, I downloaded the app and followed the guide to pairing the bulbs to my phone and WiFi, I normally struggle with technical things but installing these was a doddle even for me, I then paired them up to my Alexa device and again had no issues. The Tapo app has a lot of different settings and easy to navigate I especially like the away setting that will turn the bulbs on and off at random times while you are out or away from home and there are far more things you can do via the Tapo app. I have used a few smart bulbs and none of them were as easy to set up like these were I had both bulbs up and working within a matter of minutes, so far I am impressed and will consider getting more Tapo items. How long the bulbs last only time will tell however I am really happy with my purchase and recommend them.
