Bought this to replace a craftsman cats paw that went MIA in between jobs. Not much to rant & rave about. A nail needs pulled so you whip out your trustY catspaw & nail beater, give the kittysfoot a few good snacks with the old waffle head and pry that 3 1/2” spike out of that pine. Works good to keep Apprentices in line too. A day of use with this will teach them they don’t want to make mistakes.

Always handy for digging out nails. Solid tool!

This was smaller than I expected, it's like a mini crowbar. It's fairly thick and heavy for its size. My husband likes it and doesn't seem as disappointed as I was.

I’ve, used theses nail pullers since 1991; and If you break a, Vaughan, at the head...I would say that you’re using it has a hammer rather than what it was intended for! It's, exactly what a framer needs on them for easy reclamation of a nail(s) with accuracy! Not like the scoop type; which hogs out large pieces of lumber out of your material! Also, it’s great for metal framers too! I used to get B.S. for carrying one; and now...all metal framers around me carry them!

Seems cheeply made and the coating is too thick

This nail puller is up to the task. Pretty sure it is going to stand up to heavy construction use. Nicely designed

I'm surprised this cat's paw is made by Vaughan or even in the USA. I hope the steel is good because the quality looks like it came from Harbor Freight. I will touch some of the sharp and rough edges up on my bench grinder and repaint it. The fact that it is made in the USA is the only reason I'm willing to keep it. The sticker model says BC-10 10-1/2" BR CLW.
