Fantastic storyline
I am totally amazed at the talent that Katherine Lowry Logan brings forth with each and every one of her books. This latest addition is adventurous, shocking, has lots of romance and even has Teddy Roosevelt thrown in. Ansley being a bull rider in Wyoming, has developed a passion for the history of Wyoming and Teddy Roosevelt. With a Celtic Brooch in her possession, she is accidentally transported back to 1885. It's a good thing she know a lot about Wyoming, she managed to find her way to Teddy Roosevelt. You will have to read this book to find out what happens, but each book Katherine writes is better than the one that came before it, in this series. She is one of the best authors that I have read and she is historically accurate when she places her characters in that time period. A lot of research goes into her books, so if you want adventure, romance and lot of action, this is an author you need to read. Be sure to begin with The Ruby Brooch as this is a series, but you will not regret getting this series for yourself. I am hoping that some TV or movie producer picks up this series and puts it on the big screen, it's that good. Enjoy this book or begin the series with The Ruby Brooch.

take the violence & language warning to heart
I love the plot, but some of the mental images are hard to get over, and where did all the potty language come from? A bit excessive

I’m obsessed!
I have read almost the entire series of 12 books without pausing. Adventure, time travel, murder, rape, mystery, love and above all family bonds! You do not want to miss this series! I would give 100 stars if I were able to.

Many surprises in this one!
I really think that I enjoyed this story the most, but then again I said that about the one with Thomas Jefferson ( I have trouble remembering all the titles). I love the stories, they're as finely woven as an Indian basket. Each time a new character is introduced into this interesting family I am amazed how the author keeps them all straight along with their individual personalties. One of the reviewers complained about the stories being "conspicuous with white privilege" well I say "so what" these stories are all fiction, stories to entertain and while you're reading, all problems including the pandemic and being stuck indoors all day are on hold while I wallow in the luxury of my mind being transported to another century. Keep them coming!

Wow!
This is an extremely long book, 822 pages, but it is so captivating with all the excitement and adventures it has in it that I didn't want to put it down! You're going to be reintroduced to some of the characters you've previously met, such as James Cullen, Ensley, George - Ensley's cousin, Austin, Meredith and the Keeper, Elliott. While Ensley who is a book editor, is waiting for George to pick her up for dinner, she picks up and starts to pin on her Sunstone brooch, thinking about her meeting with an author who has written a book about Teddy Roosevelt when she learns her publishing house has been published and she no longer has a job. As she places her hand on her brooch and reads the words displayed on it, a smell of peat and a fog surrounds her and she disappears. My favorite part of the book

Book 11 ... and it gets better every time. I love long books and this one didn't let me down. Had to put everything on hold until I finished. So, the family line continues along with mystery and intrigue. This was my favorite and I can hardly wait to read the next one. Keep them coming!!! I am a huge fan.

seniors viewpoint
Just finished book 11 and impatiently waiting for the next in the series. I thoroughly enjoyed every one of these books. Each book brings new characters into the fold, but still keeps in touch with previous heroes/heroines.Adventure, romance, mystery and time travel. Pure escapism and I loved it.I’m in my seventies, but I would have enjoyed this series in any of my previous decades.

Oh Wow
Usually with books in a series some authors cannot keep up the intrigue, momentum and knowledge. But once again this author has done it with "bells on", as usual the outline, on the characters was as in depth as you can get to make sure you know who is who and not lose "The Plot".With the usual historical facts as good as the author can get them, it is always a joy to read the fiction with the non ficton. Not to spoil it for anyone but there is lots of sex in this book as in the last one "The Topaz Brooch". I am loving this new spate of books as they are now involving the younger generation on their travels as well as explaining more about the history and they why for of the brooches. There is still the intrigue in how many brooches there are and how they came about. This book involves going further back in time than they have in the past and an intrigue in how "The Guardian" works. So highly recommended.

An honest review -no plot spoilers
You get a story synopsis from the back fo the book, and there will be heaps of reviews giving away plot lines thats not what you really want to know. You want to know do I think you should read this book - YES you absolutely should, with this book being number 10 in the series do not fear the story isn't getting despearte or stale. (if you haven't read the others you should but you can still read this book) The writing is strong and doesn't fail to dissapoint. We are getting to see more of the younger charatchers we have "watched" growing up with still getting a good serve of your favourites. Love them or they drive you nuts and you just want to clip the around thier ears, they like thier parents give the story a real life texture. I feel this story in particular is a real convergence of all the other books threads preparing us for something even more exciting next book. I struggeled to put this book down and am now sad its finished so bring on the auible edition! I know the last book Topaz upset a few due to the nature of story, but I think the warning on this book is author being cautious to her fans which she deeply respects and cares for.

Another Amazing Story
I waited very impatiently for Book 11 to be released and couldn't wait to read it. It was well worth the wait. I loved the characters and lost a lot of sleep because I simply couldn't put it down. I must say as much as I loved the other books in the series, I do believe this is my favourite so far. Now I must wait for book 12. I highly recommend this series by this amazing author.

Always a Treat!
Loving this series and it’s typical of us readers to have a gimme gimme gimme attitude but yeah, I am like show me the next book haha!I liked Endsley she was a tough cookie, there’s a difference between being tough and riding bulls n horses and being a warrior. That’s the only part I was a bit meh about. The transition of ‘I am coming into the fray’ when there was no real combat experience. Skill set derived from being a child of a bad ass is not automatic, so yeah that part was reaching for me. Thats not just this book though, many authors do this too.Overall I loved this latest adventure and can’t wait for the next one 🙌
