Excellent coding & billing reference.
This is a fabulous little reference manual is all inclusive and covers everything from E&M to surgeries to billing & payer guidance. It is perfect for a coding student or newly credentialled coder starting their career. It is also a good reference for a credentialled coder in a new job Our AAPC chapter gives this coding reference guide to our newly credentialled members as a gift for passing the exam. I highly recommend. [Albany, OR chapter].

It’s ok for beginners
If you’re new to the medical coding field, especially in the outpatient setting, then you might benefit from this pocketbook. However, if you’ve had a few years of coding or if you’re more in the inpatient coding world, then you might find the book a bit underwhelming. Unfortunately, this is not what I’m looking for.

Convenient
It is nice and compact with all the info in one place and not scattered all over!

Came Used?
The pocket coach came to me in a damaged box. The product itself has some kind of sticky, dried up fluid covering the front cover and first couple pages. I was under the impression that the item was being sold as new, not used. Other than the mess, the product IS the most recent edition, despite what I read from other commenters.
