My grandson loves trains so enjoyed these stories, he has read all the hardback books and is now reading the small paperbacks.

Great - my pensioner husband loved it - gave it to him for Valentines day!! He loves the stories by Mr Vine and finds the detail that the 'technical' pages offer very interesting. Would love it if Mr Vine would produce his paper back books in hard back - perhaps as a collection.

I would recommend this book to any child who enjoys railway stories and is also interested in the 'technical bits' about renewable energy and railway construction.

Another wonderful book in the series loved by my eight year old son. Great for when they outgrow Thomas. Lots of technical detail and a good story, at 6 I read these to him, now reading them avidly himself.
