It stays snug without feeling like you have a Boa Constrictor on your head
Disclaimer: I did not receive compensation or receive this as a free gift for this review. The opinions stated are my own and not influenced by the product owner.I wanted something to keep the sweat out of my eyes and still have the ability to wear sunglasses when I go running. This headband certainly fits the need and it functions very well. It is a light and thin headband - not bulky. It stays snug without feeling like you have a Boa Constrictor on your head. There is a lot of material at the front, so you can cover most of your forehead (especially if your hair grows in "clear", like mine) or you can roll/fold it depending on your preference. This way you can move it closer to your eyebrows or pull it up to the top of your head - wherever it feels comfortable. It worked very well on my first run using it. No need to wipe my brow or sweat out of my eyes at all during the run. Obviously, it was damp after I finished my run. I hung it up and it dried out quickly. I used it the next day for a kettle-bell workout with the same results. No need to stop and wipe off the sweat and no interference with the workout activity. This comes in a two-pack and I don't need two. So, I asked my son if he wanted to look as cool as I did with the head-band on and use the second one. Of course he wanted to look as cool as me in front of his teenage friends and took the second one. Being serious for a moment - It really worked well. He used it under his helmet for lacrosse during his practices. It is thin enough to wear under his helmet without causing bulkiness, being irritating, or compromising the fit of the helmet. Plus, it keep his hair out of his face without feeling restricted. It worked so well his teammates want one, too.4-stars. Why not 5? I have only had the headband for a week. Obviously, I cannot comment on longevity or how this product wears on the long term. I am happy with the purchase, my son is happy with my purchase. The headband has a soft, quality feel right out of the packet. The bonus is you get two for this price. I think it is a good value and a quality product. -Dave

I really love this workout product
I really love this workout product. I shave my head bald so I sweat a great deal from my head. The Temple Tape doesn't soak through my one hour high intensity workouts at OTF. I would like to see a few more colors or sports team themes. But I am really pleased with this product and highly recommend.

Just a rag
I ordered these to wear under my hard hat. The pictures make it look like an elastic headband. I ordered the OD Green and Black. What I got was a blue rag. Heavy material, not a headband, not the colors I ordered, and I only received 1 blue rag. The sticker on the package clearly says "2 piece". I got 1 blue rag.

It's not perfect but it works
What can I say. When I go jogging I sweat. A LOT. I mean, it almost seems unnatural how much I sweat during workouts. However, we recently put in a treadmill at home for when it's too rainy or cold out, but I was finding that my head was just dripping when using it. Sweat was literally dripping into my eyes, so I knew I needed to find something to control it. Hence why I purchased this product. The material is very thin, so at first I was skeptical it would work. I also have a big head and wasn't sure it would fit. When I wear them, they do stay on but there's always this feeling it's going to pop off. Luckily it hasn't.So here's what I found as a heavy sweater: These work well and do what they're supposed to. But not in all conditions. When I jog outside, these are great. I never have any seepage and sweat stays out of my face. But when I use the treadmill, these bands aren't enough. They do keep sweat out of my face for a time, but after a while they become too soaked and I get sweat in my eyes again. Good thing I got a pack of 2.I think whether or not these will work perfectly depends on the amount you sweat and the environment you're working out in. Get the pack of 2 if you're like me so that you can swap for a dry one if you need to. But even think these aren't perfect, I like them enough that I'll likely buy more, and my workouts are definitely more comfortable with them than without them.

My search continues...
I have very fine and very straight hair that is virtually impossible to keep out of my face.Any band style holder I use tends to gradually slip right off the back of my head, which is incredibly frustrating during exercise or when I'm trying wash my face.I have therefore been searching for a headband that can keep my hair back without flying off after a few minutes.Consequently, I had been eyeing the Temple Tape headbands because they have such great reviewsfrom men and women alike, but I was hesitating because they are quite pricey.Well, when I spotted them on a daily deal I decided to snap them up.Alas, the reality of these head bands did not live up to the hype. While they may slide off my head more slowly than other headbands I've tried, they still manage to pop off about 10 minutes after I put them on.Another weird thing is I distinctly remember reading reviews in which people declared that wearing theTemple Tape did not cause discomfort/headaches, but that was actually one of the first things I noticed. If I keep wearing mine. and especially if I put it right back on after it slips off, my head starts to hurt, which strikes me as bizarre, particularly since they indicate they are good for both men and women. As far as why I gave these 2 stars instead of 1 is concerned, well, based on the reviews, I assume thatsomeone with a different type of hair might really get something out of wearing these bands. If, however, you have fine straight (AKA slippery or silky) hair I very much doubt they will work for you.So now I am back to looking for a headband that actually stays on my head without cutting off the blood supply to my scalp.
