This was a gift for my 1.5 year old grande daughter. It was perfect. We had many pretend tea parties during my visit. She loves it. Very pretty and durable. Perfectly matches her little grey table and chairs.

My 2yo granddaughter LOVES tea parties with her dolls and me. I purchased a tin tea set thinking it wouldn't break. It didn't, but it also leaked from the tea pot and creamer, so we couldn't put liquid in it! It was relegated to the bath tub, which was fun for a bath but not a tea party. Quite by accident i discovered this one. It is very sturdy and small enough that little hands easily pour. We have enjoyed our tea parties immensely; perhaps I will purchase a child sized china set in the future but for now we are having a wonderful time.

My 4 year old daughter has been obsessed with tea parties lately. My husband got her a mini porcelain set but she dropped & shattered the tea pot on the second day she had it. I then dug out my old tea set from when I was a kid. The next day, she broke the lid to the tea pot, which was mended but a few days later, she broke a plate, which can be fixed but it was getting tiresom to constantly be mending this stuff.When I saw this tea set, I knew this was what we needed. It's wooden, so it isn't likely to break when dropped. It comes with a nice serving tray, which is something many sets don't have. There is a tea pot with lid, 2 tea cups, 2 spoons, a creamer jug, 2 cookies/biscuits, 2 tea bags (another unique item), & 3 saucers/plates (it's rather odd to have an odd number but whatever).My daughter loves it & I think it's very cute. There are, however, a couple of flaws I've noticed: One is that the spout to the tea pot is loose & falls off. It can be glued, of course, but it is annoying. Second, there is no sugar jar, which is typically a staple of tea sets.Overall, this is a pretty nice set for small children. You certainly couldn't go wrong with chosing this as a gift but I might do a quick search to see if there might be a more complete set available first (one with an even number of plates or at least a sugar dish).

This is the sweetest tea set ever! It's made of wood, with great shapes and colors. The detail is extraordinary -- the little wooden tea bags and heart-decked spoons are wonderful.They're just the right size for small children.The set includes a tray, teapot with lid, cream pitcher, teacups and saucers, spoons, and an extra plate for the wooden cookies. The combination of pink, white, and silver paint gives it a chic modern look.
