The book came early and was in good condition. The cover page is also so sick as well as the book hopefully 😃

The Glass Spare è un retelling della storia di Re Mida, che però viene sottovalutato infatti secondo me se ne dovrebbe parlare molto di più.

I wasn't sure that I would enjoy this one, but I did! A different take on the King Midas touch, our heroine has to navigate saving herself and her kingdom while dealing with an awful curse that destroyed someone she loved. I was immersed in the story from beginning to end and I can't wait for the sequel!

I thought this was a good break from traditional YA fantasy since it incorporated a mix of contemporary as well as traditional and alchemy. I would have scored it higher, but there were build-up to amazing scenes that ended up being a bit flat for me. I like the characters and the mystery of the curse, so I read the sequel as well.

Arrived on time and had a STUNNING cover! I seriously finished this book in one day! It’s short and amazing which fit perfectly into the busy holiday season schedule
