Easy peel and seal and good value.

I bought a box of these to try. I like the adhesive they use. It seems to seal well. The paper quality they used is adequate. I’m not sure I’m thrilled with the opening tear off strip. I use them for payment return envelopes and have had the opportunity to open a few of these. The idea is good but the strip often tears and I end up having to grab my old school letter opener to finish the job. Some in the office like them and say how great they work. I’m not a huge fan. It’s possible I just don’t have the touch needed to successfully execute the “easy open” function but I think a regular old envelope would be ok too.

In past didn’t mind paying for quality feel and weight Columbian envelopes had. However, failed with this new model of envelopes; 1. Shipped in the Columbian box, specifically choose do not ship in original packaging.. yet they did and box was damaged and fell apart due to box wicking up moisture on bottom from cement porch, damaging many of envelopes.2). Envelope weight of the dry ones is 3 grams, weight of the older ones (5 months ago) is 4 grams.3). The advertising on back of envelopes makes a professional Envelope now look like a cheap generic box store envelope. If you want a envelope that looks and feels like quality, move on.I take no delight posting a negative review, however, seriously, these do not have the Columbian quality of past. Need to let those who want a pro product know what they are considering buying.

The paper quality is very cheap.
