Bought this to replace the Savio UV light in our pond - so far works great!
I was a little hesitant to buy this for a replacement. Wasn't sure it would work with our Savio WMS5000 system. The bulb we purchased in the past was very expensive and had a "sleeve" built in. This one has nothing and I was a little nervous. So we installed it and I'm so happy to say it works perfectly - no adjustments. And the cost is much less as compared to the Savio brand. I just hope it will last as long as the Savio did.

Doesn’t last long
I was happy to find this as I hated paying over $130 for the savio one. Sadly the light lasted 4 months! I bought it on 9-21-22 and saw today it was dead-1-22-23! So not sure if it’s worth buying this and it dying so fast or biting the bullet and getting the savio one that lasted just over a year.

Did not work well as Savio replacement
I ordered two of these bulbs as replacements for my Savio UV bulbs. Immediately after installing the bulbs and plugging them in, the circuit breaker tripped. I rechecked the installation, wiped everything dry, and tried again one bulb at a time. The first bulb worked for a few minutes and then the fuse tripped again. It felt quite warm when I unplugged it, so I completely removed it from the filter and tried the second bulb. The second bulb appeared to work for about twelve hours, but it also seemed to overheat and trip the circuit breaker.I was pretty excited to try a replacement product that was far less expensive than the original Savio bulbs, but they simply did not work for me.

Works in Savio UV systems!
Definitely a better price than the original Savio 55W UV bulbs, and works well. Only had them in for a couple of days, and water is clearing!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Great Bulbs
These bulbs are great for my Savio filter. They cost is at least 50% less than the other 57 watt bulbs uses in ny filter.
