Love this (the comforter itself doesn't smell)
The comforter does not smell. The thick plastic bag that is vacuum sealed around the comforter for who knows how long smells awful. Obviously the plastic toxic smell is going to transfer on to the comforter. After fluffing it in the dryer as directed and it sitting out in the air for a several hours it was totally fine. Using it for someone with chemical sensitivities. And we love it.

Very classy looking
This product renewed my faith in purchasing products online. It appears even better in person and is very classy and mature looking. It's not a cheap looking comforter but not too expensive looking either. It is very heavy and warm, I had to remove it during the summer months. I'm not sure why people complain about the crinkling noise. Yes, it crinkles when you shift positions but unless you're moving constantly you wouldn't notice it. But note it will not stand up to a cat's claws. I don't think you'll be dissapointed.

Very Happy with Seller and Product
Long review, but worth the read:First I want to start out by saying how amazing this company is, and how very friendly and helpful they are.2nd: Their listing read that the duvet has "8 corner tabs" when in reality, sadly for me and my huge 8 tab duvet cover, there is only 4 tabs attached to this duvet. They have, however, updated their listing since I brought this to their attention, and refunded me $25 for the inconvenience.Although I have been using down blankets and pillows for as long as I can remember, I never actually looked into the process of what makes a good feather duvet. Prior to my purchase with this store, I spent a month researching everything from sneaky phrasing like: "Siberian" goose feather down, "1200 thread count", "white feather" (now think about that...Does it really matter what color the birds feather is when it comes to quality/performance? Of course not, Duh!) It's location of the feather that matters! It's just another advertising gimmick to fool the layman! I also learned about various styles of: stitching, hypoallergenic, certified qualities to look for as well humanely harvested geese, the best origin to get your feather down (which, BTW, is Hungary), what to look for in the duvet shell: if you want a crinkle sound or not, difference between down, feather and waterfowl, the best age of a bird to use for their feather (which is older, mature birds because they're feathers are fully grown in and developed), the best location on the bird of which to pluck their down...the list goes on, and on, AND ON!!!All that said, to get all the qualities in one duvet, you're looking to spend no less than $300-500 minimum on top quality. However, you can still get organic, humanely harvested, certified, fluffy and 100% cotton quality for $100 if you know what to look for, and how to read between the misleading phrasing. In the end, it all depends whether or not the seller is honest with their listing. So, my friends, this is where inspection of the product once in hand, is so important. When this first arrived (which, by the way, arrived the very next day after purchase), I immediately opened it and instead of using a dryer, I just shook it around for a few minutes, and then displayed it over a dry rack for inspection. While a couple feathers did show up, there does not appear to be any loose seams or holes. Before putting it on my bed, I shook it a bunch more and it instantly fluffed up. Once I put it on my bed, I shook it yet again and it not only fluffed up more yet, I was able to determine no additional feather loss (or pet dander like some other idiot posted in their review) had leaked. It is a very clean, crisp duvet and I am absolutely in love with it (minus the fact it only has 4 tabs). The feathers are from both dark and white birds.Since this is made with feather down and waterfowl, it's hard to say what kind of bird these dark feathers came from, but they're so dark that you can actually see the them through the duvet, which isn't a big deal for me since I will be using a cover.Again, it immediately fluffed up, there is absolutely zero odor, it is extremely lightweight and warm. Personally, I love the crinkle sound which is why I got 100% cotton, and not a "cotton blend".I'm only giving this 4 out of 5 stars: because of the incorrect number of tabs. I really need 8 for my large king cover. I also want to mention that if you measure your duvet cover first, all you have to do is look for a duvet with the same measurements. So many reviews said that they're "duvet doesn't fit," but did they take the time to try adjusting the direction in which they are laying their duvet?Admittedly, when I first threw my duvet over the cover, it was 5-6" too short on the sides, and I wasn't happy. Then I thought about it for a moment, turned the duvet so that instead of the tag being at the foot of the bed, it was to the side of my bed, and it then fit perfectly with the measurements of my duvet cover!! So basically what I'm saying here people, is if the blanket does not fit one way with your cover, turn your blanket, and try again! In all, I love this duvet and if you're hesitant, don't be. It passed this OCD, anal retentive inspector with flying colors! I haven't slept this comfortably in a very long time!!! ❤️👏👍👏❤️

Excellent!
I am so happy that I bought this! I was looking for a new one as ours needed replaced and couldn’t find one I was pleased with. This is absolutely everything I was looking for. So much that I am considering buying another just to have a backup.

Toddler Bed
Bought this twin duvet for my toddler as she was getting too tall for her toddler-sized comforter from the Swedish big box store. This has got to be the loudest duvet I've ever heard. (face palm) Not ideal for children especially when you're still using a video monitor. I would not buy again. Trying to consider my options without paying too much.
